4 Bedroom House in Seneca Falls

The main level features an open floor plan with windows galore, providing lake views from every inch of the huge living area, dining area and kitchen. A full bathroom and one of the four bedrooms (w/ queen-sized bed) round out the main level. Brand new tile floor installed in the spring of 2019.
The country kitchen is filled with natural light from its 2 skylights and windows overlooking Cayuga Lake from 3 directions. You can prepare meals while watching your kids and/or significant other catch fish from the dock or play in the yard near the water. And there is loads of counter space, including a large island/breakfast bar.
The dining area features a rustic 10-foot long dining room table with seating for 12, handmade by a skilled local craftsman, and overlooks the lake through wall-to-wall windows.
The living area features a 55” flat screen Smart TV with Roku, including 70 HD channels of Time Warner Cable and embedded Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, Spotify, Pandora, etc., as well as a Blu Ray player and 2 full-length couches (one of which is a queen size memory foam sleeper sofa).
Upstairs you’ll find 3 more bedrooms and another full bathroom. Two of the upstairs bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) face the lake, allowing you to wake up to our beautiful Cayuga Lake sunrises. The 3rd upstairs bedroom is the “Bunk Room”, and is perfect for kids of all ages, but can also accommodate adults/couples as well on a full mattress Bunk beds twin/full and an another twin bed. All the upstairs bedrooms have 32” flat screen Smart TVs and Blu Ray players, and the Bunk Room also features a Twin Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa (feel free to bring your kids’ game console and plug it in).
The screened-in Three Season Room overlooking the lake is accessible from the kitchen or back yard and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine with your friends at night or when the weather isn’t perfect. Walk out the back door of the Three Season Room onto a path leading straight out onto an elevated deck that sits atop our boathouse adjacent to the lake. The trees above this deck provide a natural canopy. Or take a left onto the main deck and fire up the grill or take a dip in the 8-person Jacuzzi (room for 4 adults only please). Head down the stairs in the back yard to the lakeside lawn and cook up some S’mores in the fire pit with the whole family.
Walk out the dock over the water to a 20’ x 8’ fishing/lounging platform with Adirondack chairs, etc. Go for a swim, go fishing or take a ride on one of our 2 kayaks. If you have your own boat, we also have a 4500lb boat lift (ask us about availability).
You’re also in the heart of wine country (not to mention breweries and distilleries which are cropping up all over as well) and not far from beautiful waterfalls (including the tallest in NY State - Taughannock Falls). Historic downtown Seneca Falls is just 8 miles away and was the inspiration for “Bedford Falls” in Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life”, starring Jimmy Stewart.
Del Lago Casino is just 14 miles away in Tyre, NY, adding to the already robust local attractions. Waterloo Premium Outlets is only 17 miles away. Seneca Falls Country Club is 5 miles away.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful house on the lake. It was close to all we wanted to do and had all the amenities. The hot tub was an added plus. Jamie was a wonderful host and communicated with me quickly on any questions I had. We went for a wine trail event and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Will definitely book again.

Summary: A group of us stayed for a few days over New Years and had a great stay! Sitting in the hot tub over the lake and curling up in front of the fire made for a perfect getaway. Jamie was great with recommendations for wine and cheese. Muranda Cheese Co is a must visit! The house was cozy and clean. Overall a great visit and would stay there again!

Summary: This home was just as described and did not disappoint. We had an amazing time. The views from the house were so great and it was so peaceful sitting by the lake. The location is close to a number of breweries and wineries between Cayuga and Seneca. It was the perfect location for a long weekend with friends.

Summary: A wall of windows in the open living area and kitchen provides beautiful views of Cayuga Lake. The master bedroom and another bedroom provide the same water view; we enjoyed watching the sunrise over the water while in lying in bed. A patio with hot tub, additional deck with picnic table, fire pit, and fishing pier all provide seating to enjoy the lake view. Beds and pillows are very comfortable! The friendly owner provides thorough information and is easy to contact if necessary. We enjoyed our stay and access to attractions.

Summary: This home has a wonderful view of the lake. The living room, dining room and kitchen had plenty of space for all our friends and family. I would have preferred to see the kitchen a bit cleaner, but no one complained.

Summary: The views and the access to the water at this property were great! Beautiful sunrises and windows over looking the water from almost all the rooms. James was very responsive when we had a few questions. There is currently only 1 bunkbed in the kids room. Everyone loved the hot tub and fishing from the dock.

Summary: We enjoyed staying in the lake house and found it to be more spacious than pictured. It is located about 15 minutes from Seneca Falls, making it easy to get groceries or visit Sauders Amish grocery store. It is also a short distance from wineries, Cayuga Lake State park and Taughannock Falls state park. The kitchen has a large variety of dishes and cookware, and this rental includes supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher soap. We enjoyed using the firepit each night and also the dock to launch our kayaks and small fishing boat. The landlord is very responsive to questions and concerns. We did experience a plumbing issue which was fixed very quickly in just a few hours. Overall, we were very satisfied with the house, the location, the amenities and communication with the landlord. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Summary: This place was absolutely stunning! The location of the house was perfect and within a good distance to all your major stores. The views from the master bedroom were amazing and being able to sit by the fire and listen to the water right next to you was everything you need for a relaxing weekend! The rooms were big, plenty of places for people to sleep and the beds were very comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here!

Summary: We are always looking for places to visit with my elderly parents. This home was excellent because of its no stairs entrance and first floor bedroom and bath. The downstairs was very open which enabled my father too to use his power wheelchair. The views of the lake were stunning and there is so much to do in the area it almost begs you to come back again.
