This lakefront cabin is located on Pulaski lake in Bruce, Wisconsin. The 125-acre lake is full recreation, has good fishing, and is very clean for swimming. Relax and fish on the dock or gather around the outdoor fire pit. There are ATV and snowmobile trails right next to the cabin. There is a restaurant/bar within walking distance. There is a gas grill and propane available.

Summary: Our family books a cabin or lake home for a week every summer and due to schedules booked for a long weekend at a smaller less expensive option this year and we were all absolutely blown away what an incredible value this property was!!!! The photos don’t do it justice ! We ended up having less than ideal weather for normal outdoor summer activities and the main living space was so great for all of us to hang out. 3 reclining sofas with a big Tv and many streaming options and cozy throw blankets , board games and even a corner of kids toys left everyone happy. Super convenient the day we could finally use the boat, it started right up and we were out fishing . The lake is beautiful, quiet and very clear. We had a bonfire 2 nights ( bring your own wood) . Plenty of sleeping options , extra bed linens , fully stocked kitchen and paper products , and great communication with the hosts . Only negative for us ( only because we cooked all meals ) was “ roughing “ it with no dishwasher. But we were happy that the hosts described that in the initial description and so we brought plastic cups, plates, etc. The one thing that I don’t think is mentioned , it is directly next to a owner style camp ground with campers and trailers. We were not used to renting a place so close to others and didn’t know what to expect. It was quiet and private and we walked to the cute little bar/ restaurant for Saturday night Karaoke- great crowd, ridiculously cheap food & drinks ! 5 stars!!

Summary: Pros: The house is so much bigger on the inside than it looks from the road. Almost no mosquitos, despite being a lake house. Neighbors were either not present or *very* quiet. Large living room with comfy electronic-reclining sofas, and a huge TV. DVD player for those whom still use them. Wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Fast wifi considering the remoteness of the property. Tested at about 250mbps down and 20mbps up. Central air controlled via a programmable digital thermostat. Functional wood fireplace with wood outside. Unfinished basement with a bed and laundry. Beautiful sun room overlooking the lake. Pontoon (costs extra but worth it since rentals cost so much more elsewhere). Owners were hands-off, sending the code and asking how we were doing, rather than treating us like random strangers and stopping by. Extremely Nitpicky Cons: It took us a bit to realise that we had to tap the lock a bunch of times to wake it. The ice maker didn't seem to make much ice, but we didn't use it. If you sleep in the addition, use a fan. It gets a bit warmer than the other rooms. The nearby Winter Haven restaurant was closed when we went to check it out. Activities nearby are sparse. Make sure you're coming specifically for the house and/or lake. It's genuinely really nice here. The sink is flat, so watch for bits of food going under the drying rack. Some of the spices and oil were nearly empty. We brought our own, though. Would stay again. 10/10

Summary: This property was perfect for our family get away. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We had 6 adults and 3 kids under 6. It was a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!

Summary: This place was perfect for our family. It was very nice, spacious, and the lake was very clean for swimming. My kids swam for hours. Pontoon rental was an excellent deal and we probably took it out four times a day. Kids caught fish right off the dock. Amenities were very thoughtful, the towels were plush, and the mattresses very comfortable. A perfect place for the family to get away.
