Summary: We booked this amazing property for a 60th birthday & Girls trip to get away from the men & boys in our lives! It was perfect!!! There is so much room. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We could all comfortably sit in the living room, sit at the table & with only moving one chair around the fire pit on the porch. Any question or concern we had was promptly addressed by Shane. We throughly enjoyed our trip and had already started planning our return with some of the families next year!!! Thank you so much for having the perfect house & location as well as sharing it with the world.

Summary: The pictures looked amazing, but still didn't do the house any justice! Absolutely beautiful with everything you need. The front porch was the perfect place to sip on coffee and soak in the nature. Not too far from civilization, but far enough to unplug and relax. Hope to go back!

Summary: I loved the home. So peaceful. I would get up in the morning, get a cup of coffee and sit on the front porch listening to the birds. One evening I sat with my brother talking next to the fire pit table. I would have loved to use the fire pit on the side of the house but my father couldn’t get down there. For me it was exactly what I wanted. However the first thing my SIL noticed was no TV and no radio. I suggested she use her phone. She is in her late 70s and didn’t bring it with her since she was with her husband. My brother said she had never lived in a place so quiet. When I travel I rarely look at TV so I didn’t notice it lacking in the pictures. My sister said she didn’t notice either. The kitchen was large and the large dining table was perfect for dinner and playing games. The lighting in the house was wonderful too. The one negative thing we all agreed on was the stairs going down to the basement needs a railing on the top half, it would be nice to have it to hold on to while carrying a suitcase downstairs. A young family probably wouldn’t notice but at 58 I was the youngest at our mini family reunion. For anyone wanting a quiet retreat this is a wonderful choice.

Summary: The house is large and very clean, with well appointed decor and a fully stocked large kitchen and seating for the whole family. The rooms are spacious. The rainy weather didn't allow for much outdoor fun, although the fire pit, hot tub and deck were inviting. The large covered front porch and gas fire pit were comfortable for morning coffee and evening relaxation. It's about 30 minutes from Potsdam, where we attended a graduation at Clarkson. Local brewery, diners and pretzel makers were good. Wifi was easy to access. No TV on property offered an even more relaxing experience. Comfortable family-friendly venue!
