34th Street Retreat 1 Bedroom is thoughtfully furnished and appointed to make your stay carefree whether you are here for work, a family getaway or just escaping from the day-to-day. Private Sunny stand alone home with 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, private entrance, private back patio, one reserved parking space and air conditioning.
If you're coming to San Diego to relax and refresh, work, or explore the area, 34th Street Retreat is a very clean, convenient and charming place to stay. Furnished and appointed to add modern convenience while maintaining its unique charm with hardwood floors and arched entry-ways. Lots of windows for awesome light and air.

*The living area is spacious with Smart TV (access to Hulu, Prime and Netflix- login to your own account), DVD and cable TV.
*The dining table will seat 4 comfortably.
*The bedroom has a queen sized bed with comfy linens and a walk-in closet.
* We have also added a full sized memory foam pad for a little bit of extra sleeping space for a kiddo and a pack and play for a baby. Linens are also in the bedroom closet.
*Full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Please note - the bathroom is off the bedroom.
* Bright, well equipped kitchen has granite countertops, gas stove, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, Mr. Coffee maker and French Press, toaster, blender, little kids dishes, cups and silverware, etc.. etc.
*Stackable washer and dryer.
*The door from the kitchen leads to the completely fenced private back patio which makes it safe for little ones. The patio has a table and chairs.
*There are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom.
*The house offers central air conditioning and heat.
*Board games for adults and children.
*In the bedroom closet there is a pack and play, high chair, play mat, baby tub and toys for the kiddos
*You have a private entrance
* ONE private parking spot directly in front of the house-to the far right.
Easy stroll to Adams Ave. which offers great restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, fun shops, grocery store, pharmacy. Just 15 minutes +/- to San Diego's great attractions Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, many beaches, downtown, Old Town and the airport, to mentions a few spots
It's a perfect location!
This is a smoke-free home - please be considerate and do not smoke inside or anywhere on the property.

Note: We do not consider Certified Service Animals pets - but would appreciate it if you would let us know if a Certified Service Animal will be coming with you.
Guest access
Guests have access to the back house and private, enclosed back patio.
You will be provided a code for keyless entry.
There is parking in the driveway for one mid-size car. Park on the right side of the driveway ONLY - close to the back house and next to the fence. If you have a large car/truck please park on the street. Please park additional cars on the street.
Other things to note:
*Your private area is the stand alone house itself (of course), your ONE designated parking space, and the BACK patio.
*Quiet hours are 9:00 pm - 8:00 am.
*The home in front is also a rental - so please be considerate of your neighbors and respect their space which includes their parking area and the side patio.
If you are interested in renting both homes, please let me know in a separate message.
Please note: In order for our housekeepers can spend Christmas and New Years with their families we are not accepting arrivals OR departures on December 25 or January 1. Thank you for understanding.

Summary: We loved this retreat! It felt so comfortable and welcoming from the moment we opened the door. It is nicely decorated and VERY clean! Nice location to walk to a variety or restaurants, bars and the best ice cream ever - all located on Adams Ave. Easy to Uber to all the fun places in San Diego.

Summary: This property is as pictured and is very charming. It is also very well stocked and has everything you might need if staying as a couple or as a family. Shops and restaurants are less than a block away and the freeway access is very close. Itโ€™s easy to get to Mission Valley for shopping, Balboa Park, or the beaches. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Perfect space for a small family. The fact that it already had a pack n play and a high chair was a HUGE advantage since we flew down to San Diego trying to be as minimal as possible. Down the street from multiple local restaurants/bars/stores. San Diego is definitely a car destination, so I felt this location was perfect because anywhere we needed to go was typically only 10 mins away. Deborah was very responsive, and pleasant to work with

Summary: I'm a mom... stayed here with my 22 year old daughter while we visited family in Normal Heights. This sweet little house is tucked behind a slightly larger house in a neighborhood at the center of San Diego. It has a small back patio that's nice for morning coffee and backyard grilling. The kitchen provides the basics and it has full sized appliances. My daughter planned to sleep on the living room sofa, which is very attractive, but she found the faux leather surface to be not to her liking, so she slept with me. The bed was plenty big and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
