Luxury villa, with refined decoration, not terraced, completely renovated in 2012, in the charming and quiet area of Mas Mato, 5 minutes walk from the beach of Sa Riera, and 3 km from the pretty medieval village of Begur. It offers excellent accommodation for 12 people and has a private heated swimming pool, a garden with landscaped area, numerous terraces and an awning; ideal for holidays with family or friends.
The villa on 3 levels is located on a beautifully wooded plot.
• On the ground floor, it includes a living room with fireplace, a dining room and an American kitchen, which open onto a large terrace with magnificent sea views.
• The lower floor has 5 bedrooms: a master suite with its own bathroom (walk-in shower, bath and WC), 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds convertible into double beds. These rooms open onto a large terrace with sea views. A children's room with 2 beds completes them. 3 shower rooms and 2 separate WCs serve this level.
• The floor located at the pool level is made up of a double bedroom with shower room and separate WC and a large living room with American kitchen, opening onto a large teak terrace by the pool. This level also includes a large open canopy which houses a garden furniture and a billiards table.
• The 5X12m swimming pool, protected by an automatic protective cover, is surrounded by lawn and offers a large relaxation area.
• On the roof of the house, a large solarium offers breathtaking views of the bay of Sa Riera.

Summary: We had a pleasant stay at the villa, which is beautiful and spacious enough for a bigger group. The villa had everything we needed for a week’s stay, the big pool was fantastic for the kids and the view was great. Also the location is very convenient - several beaches, restaurants and small supermarket all in walking distance. The walking path along the seashore towards the beaches Roja, Raco and Pals was really beautiful, and there are several more restuarnts and shops by the Pals beach. Also very idyllic villages nearby to explore, so especially if you have a car in your disposal, you should visit the old towns of Begur and Pals. We can warmly recommend the villa for a great stay at Costa Brava!

Summary: We enjoyed a fantastic week in this beautiful villa. It was in a great location and had everything we needed for a family group aged between 3 and 81 - especially the pool! We received a very warm welcome from Juan Miguel on check-in and he was on hand in minutes when we had an issue with the water/fuse. We highly recommend and hope to return.

Summary: The balconies and pool area are great and the location is very handy. The indoors lacks comfort and cleanliness. The living space had a consistent bug problem and there was a smell in the kitchen I couldn’t get rid of. The bedrooms were plentiful but the beds were broken and uncomfortable and the bedding was worn and stained.we spent a lot of time outdoors as the inside was just not comfortable.

Summary: The dishwasher and ICE cube mashine didn't work. We was told upon arrival that it just happend, but that was not true. Very disapionting. The cleaning was done the day before we left... Too many stairs, and the Beach was not as close to the house as promised.

Summary: We had a warm welcome by Miguel, who explained everything and left the keys to us, when we arrived late in the evening. The house has a fantastic view from the terrace over Sa Riera to the sea and it was really a pleasure to sit there for brewakfast, lunch and dinner. There was nothing missing in a well equipped kitchen. All rooms were absolutely clean and the beds were comfortable. A highlite for our youngsters was the big pool. They used it in the morning throughout the whole day and sometimes even in the evening, when it was lightened. We alreade are looking foreward, when we have the next opportunity to spend our hollidays at Costa Brava and for sure, then we would like to stay in this charming villa again. Summary: We stayed in this villa for 7 days at the end of June and early July. There were 14 of us in total (7 adults and 7 children). We had a wonderful stay and found it hard to leave when it was time to go. The villa has recently been renovated and was very neat and clean. It has lovely terraces on every floor, even a charming roof deck, with stunning views of the ocean. The pool was a highlight as it is big and very fun for both children and adults. It has a safety cover which we appreciated and it was nice to be able to sit on the upstairs terrace and watch the kids in the pool. The villa is well-furnished, comfortable and well-equipped. It is also in a great location and on a very nice street. We loved the town of Begur and felt that it is the best vacation spot in Costa Brava. Sa Riera beach is maybe a 7 min walk (down some stairs) from the house. Many other beaches are within 10-15 min drive from the house. We also visited several other towns in Costa Brava and found this villa to be a great base location. You will not regret renting this villa. The owner is also very nice and easy to work with.
