Summary: The house was beautiful and large enough to accommodate our family. It was well stocked and you could tell that a lot of care has been put into the property. The location couldn’t be better for a trip to Estes Park! The only issue we had, and the reason this property doesn’t get 5 stars, is that on the first day of our visit we noticed a particular smell coming from the lower level of the house. We reported it to the property custodian and he came out to have a look. He told us that it was overflowing septic/sewer (don’t remember exactly which) and he would deal with it. Well we stayed for a full week and didn’t hear back from him again. A little investigating on our part showed us standing waste water under one of the locked doors downstairs which was concerning to our group. The lower level smelled terrible the entire time so we closed it off and had the kids all sleep upstairs on the sofas and floors. Two more texts to the contact over the week with no response. We hope they are able to resolve this issue quickly for the next guests. Aside from this problem, everything else was great and we enjoyed our trip.

Summary: We had 8 people staying at the house and it never felt crowded. The house is expansive. Wonderful bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies. Everything labeled in the kitchen to find supplies easily. Exceptionally clean. Elk herds hung out near the house which we watched through the expansive windows. No air conditioning but was great sleeping with the mountain breezes coming through the windows. Exceptional stay. Loved the vintage vibes in the house. Please never remodel!

Summary: We stayed here from May 25- June 1st. The house is actually larger than it appears in pictures. There was so much room for all of us to spread out. It was laid out very conveniently for socializing and cooking in the kitchen , dining room and the little breakfast nook. We cooked in almost all of our meals, and found staples in the kitchen. Oils, spices and plenty of dishes. We used the massive living room for viewing the daily deer and moose that traveled in front of the house. The big beautiful windows were perfect for seeing all the wildlife and nature. There was a laundry room right off the kitchen that came in so handy to wash our clothes after a long day of hiking. We could walk into town in about 10--15 minutes although it was along a busy road. We did find a nice sidewalk across the street that we used. The house was very clean, had good beds, soft towels and hot water. . Even the bathrooms had so much room. We stayed with our 2 sons and daughter in law. Our single son had the whole basement to himself for privacy. We came to hike and we went to RMNP daily. It was only a short 15 minute drive to the entrance which was so convenient. The weather was perfect for hiking, cool at night in the 40's and 50's and in the 60's in the daytime. The main Trail ridge road was not open during our stay but it opened the day we left June 1st. Some of the trails still had snow like the Dream lake trail but we just used spikes and poles and had no trouble. Awesome stay!

Summary: The location was perfect for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The house is formatted perfectly for spending time with the family. We were able to have breakfast and watch the elk in the neighborhood. The chairs looking out the window were great to sit in. The decor was nice and felt very homey. Now a few cons: The house can get a little warm and stuffy since there is no A/C, but it wasn’t too bad as outside temps were still fairly cool. There was a few items that were in the listing that were no longer available in the home.

Summary: This was the perfect place for our family to spread out and be comfortable. Great views and close to town. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a great thanksgiving meal too!

Summary: This home had everything. Very comfy beds, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room and even toys for our kiddos. The views are incredible from the home and it was centrally located so easy for us to access everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for an unforgettable stay!
