Sat at the end of its own long private drive is this super country house with comfortable spacious rooms making it an ideal place for family or friends. Set within 10 acres it has a large garden with garden furniture and croquet and for the more energetic there is a full size tennis court (a little worn so not for the pros) which can also be used for football etc.
The main house has 5 double bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and the newly converted annexe has double bedroom, bathroom and huge sitting room with a large sofa bed.
Two resident cows graze in the paddocks along with a few sheep. A bridlepath runs up behind allowing fantastic walks with wonderful views.
The pictureseque town of Marlborough is only a 20 minute drive, or take a trip to Lacock village where they filmed Harry Potter, Pride and Predjudice and many more (25 mins). Bowood House and Gardens is 10 minutes away with golf course, adventure playground and ground open to the public. Bath is a must and is only 40 minutres by car or 10 minutres by train from Chippenham Station
