Summary: Had a good time. Place was good, clean. Wood was stocked. To bad it’s a little far from town. But overall really nice. Love the walk to the beach on the west. Only 20-30 mins. Kitchens ok. Stove might need to be checked out. It was acting a little weird, and definitely needs a new garbage can. But the house all in all is great. The real winner is that porch. Looks toward the sunrise. Perfect for the summer nights. Thank you for letting us stay.

Summary: A spacious home with a lovely inlet view. Plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Well stocked kitchen, and a wood stove with provided wood. A bigger coffee table would add a lot to the living room, and some of the bed pillows were a little tired. Our third time here, and we absolutely loved our stay as always.

Summary: Clean and well kept property, few items in kitchen could have been a bit better but overall excellent. Pity laundry not available, after 3 weeks of travelling it would have been most welcome. Location and views amazing.

Summary: House is beautifully renovated with lots of space. Saw otters, herons, geese, rufous hummingbird. Serenaded by a Swainson's thrush at dusk. Toddler loved the wraparound porch! A few mosquitoes, so screens on the main floor would have been useful.

Summary: Fantastic place to spend a long weekend with extended family and dogs. Quiet, private location. Great place to watch the tides, hummingbirds, and foraging black bears. Close access to walk the trail to Half Moon Beach. Lovely!

Summary: This property was great and exceeded our expectations. It is perfect for a multi generation family holiday or a group of friends. We would definitely book it again but it would benefit from a few small upgrades—a functional toaster, better lighting in the living room for reading, new pans in the kitchen and nicer bed linens (tho the towels are lovely). A better description of what is there (e.g. a coffee grinder) would help planning what to pack but the house is well equipped except there is no cable tv and no access to the washer and dryer. This should be made clear in the property description. More detailed directions than just the name of the road would have been helpful as well. Having said all this, we loved it and offer this feedback in the hopes of making it even better!
