Escape to a secluded home nestled back in the woods just steps away from the peaceful East Branch of the Ausable River. This home offers an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling over the family area with a stone fireplace (gas) to welcome and warm you. Hang out in the family area on the couch and watch a movie on the flat screen or play the games. You will find an inviting main bedroom and full bath on the first floor that will suit two people in a queen size bed with a walk in closet and two large dressers. There is also a half bath on the main floor. We supply bedding and towels. Upstairs you will be able to sleep two people in the room to the right offering a queen size bed and at least five people in the bedroom to the left offering two full size beds and a twin. There is a full bath upstairs as well that will accommodate those guests. The kitchen is open for all of your cooking needs with an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is spacious open dining area to enjoy a meal with family and friends or sit up at the counter bar with your morning coffee. Feel free to enjoy the solitude while grilling outside on the wrap around deck. Relax at the outdoor dining set which seats 6 or get some shade under the awning. Take in all the sounds of serenity of the AuSable River in view and maybe catch a glimpse of some of Mother Nature's beautiful creatures. Roast some marshmallows around the fire pit. Let's not forget the laundry room offering a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. Right outside the laundry room is a two car attached garage where you may pull your vehicles in, with plenty of large parking area outside for multiple vehicles, horse trailers, snowmobile trailers and ATV trailers. We also offer a high chair and two baby gates to protect your little ones. A large dog kennel for your dog. Your stay has endless options and great adventures that we hope you will enjoy year after year. This home is located within minutes of just about anything you may have in mind.

Summary: Very clean home with plenty of room for our group of nine. Easy contactless check-in. The home owner texts or emails you the keypad code shortly before your check-in time. The property is secluded and nice with plenty of frontage on the AuSable River. It’s a relaxing place to stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking - mainly breakfast - even made a mulberry pie. We made some side trips to Torch Lake and Mackinac Island. The main town was about 8 minutes away to get groceries or go out for pizza. There was plenty of room for 7 adults. The outside area was beautiful. The house was even better than the pictures show.

Summary: This is our second year of staying here for our annual family vacation. It is the best! Plenty of land so it feels like a private getaway with all the amenities you could want! We love our annual canoe family canoe trip and the home’s proximity to the Au Sable River and all the canoe liveries make it our ideal destination. This home has everything you need, indoors and outside. We love the comfy beds, open floor plan, well- equipped kitchen, bon fire pit, grill, corn hole game and horseshoes. The tributary adds so much water fun for the kids. The host is lovely. We can’t wait to book for next year!

Summary: Lovely location and property. There were 5 of us and only 1 sofa and 1 chair. I’d recommend more great room seating and bath soap and Kleenex in the bathrooms. Generally, we had what we need.
