Summary: We booked this location mainly for the private pool. Kids were super excited to have a place to swim all day, but the pool was not ready when we arrived. The host was very receptive to all feedback and sent someone to clean it, but we were unable to use it for half our stay and the water wasn’t really clear until the day we checked out. The whole outdoor area was also a bit disappointing - it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks and there were critters everywhere (spiders, wasps, ants, gnats, small frogs, one snake). The inside seemed hastily cleaned too with cobwebs in just about all corners and the downstairs AC would not cool below 78 during the day. The main areas were clean, though, and we did appreciate that it was well stocked with toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies. Overall the property seemed to have a lot to offer, but unfortunately not during our stay. Giving a 3/5 only because the host was very receptive to feedback and tried to fix the main issue we had (the pool).

Summary: We came to Stephenville for a baseball tournament and decided to stay in a house, instead of a hotel. This house was great for us (2 families) It was a great location (to restaurants/stores/baseball games) very comfy, and provided a great backyard to hang out in! The owner/host was very responsive and accommodating, which definitely helps and makes any stay better! I’d highly recommend this house for anyone looking to come and stay in SVille!
