Creag-an-Fhithich is Donald's family home. Alas we do not live in it but in Wales. However his relations are all around. Mrs Bailey, our housekeeper and caretaker, is at the end of a telephone and on a computer for emails, for problems etc. She will also be your point of contact for Check-In. Donald is quite happy to receive telephone calls between 0900hrs and 2100hrs and emails. Being a dinosaur, he does not really understand texting etc. We will help where we can!

Summary: A lovely house in a beautiful setting. Plenty of space, generous bathrooms, good bedlinen. Kitchen very well-equipped (I got to grips with the Aga!) with a comfortable dining room. The weather was not great all week but it didn't matter. We found plenty to do and the ever-changing coastal views in the area were a delight. We thought the house was excellent value and we were privileged to spend a week in this much-loved family home. Thank you

Summary: This is a lovely family home in a perfect spot on the water front at Loch Melfort. The owners and the local contact are extremely helpful and went above and beyond when we left an item behind when we left . The weather was glorious during our visit so we had plenty of opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside. Several places nearby for eating out .

Summary: Very spacious well appointed property that has been looked after by the owners. Pretty front garden with onward views out over the loch. Remote, yet within striking distance of Oban to the north. Tesco food delivery on the arrival day worked out perfectly. We were able to explore the local area with lots of woodland walks and old castles within a half hour drive. Great health service on your doorstep, an ambulance was called and arrived within 20 minutes. Thank you for letting us stay at your house.

Summary: We planned a return to Scotland and when we found Creag-an-Fhithich, a gorgeous house on a loch, we grabbed it! Room for our kids and their kids. Marvelous sights at every turn, friendly people wherever we went, activities too numerous to see all of them. There is not enough room to recount how thrilled we all are at our stay! Generous floor plan, comfortable furnishings. Housekeeper and owners readily available and responsive. Rate is very reasonable.
