Summary: We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. We will absolutely be back!!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the house boat, great location and easy to access all of Hamburgs sights on foot or on the s-Bahn with a station down the road. The houseboat is spacious, and we were greeted by Karsten who gave us a very thorough induction to everything we needed to know during our stay. Roof top was lovely in good weather. Stairs up and down are very steep so would advise caution to anyone with young children. Thanks for a great stay - we loved Hamburg and would love to return!

Summary: The property was beautiful, quiet annd, being a houseboat, a u inquest experience. Besides the interior it has a wonderful roof deck. Location was a bit away from the city center it it was within walking distance e of bot S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations.

Summary: We were looking for some peace and relaxation and we got it. It was apparently the coldest time in Hamburg in five years, so we spent more time in the houseboat than we anticipated. It had everything we needed, although some additional blankets might have been nice to snuggle on the couch. It was maybe a 15 minute walk to a grocery store, 10 minutes to get some great coffee, 10 to get to a train station. Karsten was awesome and although we are typically very low maintenance, we did need some help this time around and Karsten did everything possible to help us. Thank you!

Summary: We needed a location, within walking distance, from the center. The house was located within 3km, on a real nice and quiet location. We enjoyed it very much. Spacious enough for the 3 of us. Also a thanks to the owner, for his patients and speaking English to us, explaining really everything!

Summary: Hosts were wonderful and thorough in explaining how everything worked. Communication was a bit difficult, and a meeting time/place was not setup prior so we had some concerns and difficulty locating the access point, but we worked it out fairly quickly. My daughter loved feeding the ducks and swans that visited anytime she opened the window. The top deck was a great place to hang out. We weren't there very often other than in the evenings, so we didn't use the property extensively. There is a bus location close by, but trains are 15 minute walk away, as is everything else, which isn't much in the evenings as it's primarily an office area with few amenities around. Didn't really bother us since we were gone during the days, though. We'd definitely consider staying here again!

Summary: The boat is very spacious - very clean, lots of information, everything we needed. Mr Schroedter junior couldn't have been more helpful if he tried - he picked us up from the nearest station, gave us a thorough induction of the systems, showed us local shops and restaurants and underground stations - and even drove us back to the Airport, vielen Dank! Location central but despite close to a massive road it's very quiet. Highly, highly recommended.
