Summary: Clean and spacious house, with parking. Good proximity to supermarket, train station, hikes, cycling trails, swimming pool. Despite being close to road, we didn't experience any road noise at night. Not many eateries in this town though. The host is very friendly and has many local tips.

Summary: Simple but very well equipped apartment with excellent views from the balcony. 10 minute walk down (bit longer coming back uphill!!) to wonderful outdoor pool and extensive network of well marked walking and cycling tracks. Only negative was the noise from the road early in the morning Quick and excellent response to our questions from Heidi from initial booking to arrival at Klosterreichenbach

Summary: This place was perfect. It is in a small town in the Black Forest called Klosterreichenbach. The public pool is near, there are 100s of km of well marked hiking trails close & interesting historic sites are in easy walking distance. As well, my hosts made sure I had the tourist public transportation pass to go anywhere in the Black Forest FREE! The hosts are marvelous; kind & thoughtful. The apartment is clean & private. There is a tub for soaking after long hikes, a well stocked kitchen for cooking food from a local market & a balcony to enjoy sunsets & listen to church bells ring. I have stayed in many places with VRBO. This one has been the best so far! Its a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy this amazing part of Germany. I hope I get to return soon.

Summary: My wife and I spent a lovely week in this wonderful apartment. It was clean and had everything we needed. The apartment is situated in a little town called Klosterreichenbach and is within walking distance of a supermarket, a couple of nice restaurants, hikes and a very nice swimming pool. The Oesterle family were very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommended as a base from which to explore the amazing Black Forest.

Summary: The apartment is located just outside a small scenic village and very close to many hiking paths. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. The owner (Joachim, we didn't meet Heidi) was very friendly and kind. The views from the apartment are lovely and the balcony is a huge bonus. (Unfortunately, there was a wasp nest on the balcony which prevented us from enjoying it to the fullest, but I believe this will be resolved) We had a miscommunication issue which was graciously resolved by the owner Joachim in the end. This was partially our fault; however, it was a little troubling that we could not reach the owners a few days before our scheduled arrival date. We traveling in another country and our arrival were delayed by a day. We (wrongly) assumed that the owners would get our text and phone messages to let them know we would be a day late, but somehow they did not. When we arrived at the apartment the day after our scheduled arrival date, no one was there to receive us. We had to spend a (rather expensive) night in a hotel. We advise vacationers to exchange current mobile phone numbers in advance in case of any problems. Despite these minor glitches, we had a wonderful time and we want to go back. Don't hesitate to rent this apartment - you will love it!

Summary: Excellent place for visiting Black Forest. Very quite, plenty of forest trails around. Good for hiking. The House was just perfect. Very confortable and clean. Beatifull view.The owners do everything to help you out. Some inputs for improvements : need of a microwave and a bit of fixing of the outside stairs where one of the stairs is loose and we had a small problem. But all in all , it is an excellent place to stay and visit the region.

Summary: "The apartament was clean and comfortable with an spectacular view. Location is perfect to visit the Black Forest and Strasbourg by train (free tickets by owners). Heidi and Joaquim were very friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for us. We really enjoyed our stay and we would like to return, this time to visit our new friends.
