5 Bedroom Cottage in Lake City

Lakefront cottage with windows and decks looking out over beautiful Lake Missaukee. The house sleeps up to 16 people. The unit comprises of 5 Bedrooms and sleeping places. Newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. Windows throughout overlook Lake Missaukee and the picturesque landscape. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, as well as dishes and silverware. There is plenty of space to park cars/ boat trailers on the opposite side of the street from the home.
There is plenty of outdoor space to spend time with family and friends! There is a large deck overlooking the lake with views of the most beautiful sunrises, a bonfire pit right near the water, and 75 ft of lakefront. A pontoon boat is available for rental. For those with their own boats/ jet skis, there is a boat launch in Lake City. We have plenty of room to park boats in the water near the cottage. We also have kayaks and a paddle boat available.

Summary: This property was perfect for our family lots to do to stay occupied for every age group. The lake is beautiful and clean. The house and property were well taken care of. Summary: Margaret is a great host and greeted us upon arrival. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. This lake cottage is quite spacious and accommodated our large family. The lake view was gorgeous and made for a nice relaxing getaway!

Summary: The house was clean and a perfect fit for our family of 14. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of storage for the food and necessities we brought. There was plenty of seating outside for the whole family. We spent the mornings fishing, the afternoons swimming in the lake, and the evenings making smores around the fire pit. The water was shallow to the end of the dock and perfect for the kids to swim without worry. It was a great week!

Summary: Our host Margaret was awesome, showed up to greet us upon check in. The cottage had plenty of room for sleeping, several spaces outdoors to enjoy. The lake is beautiful, sandy & clean. We loved listening to the loons. We tubed, waterskied, surfed & fished. We also went to a few restaurants by boat that we were able to have dinner & watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend & will be back again!!!

Summary: The host was extremely nice and met me on arrival. She answered any questions I had and was very informative. Property was spacious and beautiful. Lake city was super cool on the 4th of July, and the neighbors were very nice and welcoming. Would 100 percent stay here again me and my whole party loved it

Summary: We stayed here over the July 4th holiday for a few days. Cottage was cute, roomy with gorgeous views. It’s a bit dated and could use some updating. The lake is calm, shallow and great for kids to swim and fish! Never been to Lake City before so it was our first time. The town itself is very small with not a lot offer. We did venture to Cadillac which had a cute downtown, local shopping and more diversity. All in all we had a good time away.

Summary: We all had a great time even through the weather did not want to cooperate. The house had everything we needed and the owners were super nice! Only the upstairs is air conditioned though so you will want to have fans on the main level
