This newer lake home was constructed on 2000. It has 2500 sq feet of open floor space. With 200 feet of lake shore and a beautiful lot on the north shore of Cedar Lake in Annandale, MN.
A beautiful new screened porch and covered patio face the lake. The main floor has a very open floor plan. Master bedroom has a private bath and walkout to the huge deck facing the lake. 80 ft x 6 ft wide brand new dock with lots of room to sunbathe and tie the boat up. Basement has a fun recreation room with widescreen TV, pool table, Foosball table, sauna; Along with 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
Park located next door with many more activities. Large beach with sand volleyball courts, playground for the kids, boat launch and fishing pier. Campsites may be available; call.
Plenty of room for entertaining or relaxing, very flexible home with many amenities. There is enough parking for 4 vehicles in the newly constructed garage, along with enough room for boat and trailer parking. And a large driveway that can accommodate more vehicles.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed the 5 days we spent with our kids and grandkids at this spacious home on the lake. Beautiful setting, very well-equipped kitchen, lots of room to spread out, extremely quiet, and great playground right next door for the kids. The lack of a dishwasher was one small downside, as was the lack of wifi (especially for one person in our group who needed to work that week), but other features made up for these inconveniences.

Summary: This property is beautiful! It is right on the water, with lovely decks, a nice yard and a wonderful screened in porch. The house is very large and was perfect for our family of 11. The master bedroom suite was on the main floor and there was a room off the screened in porch with 2 murphy beds. Downstairs there was a king size bedroom, a bedroom with a queen and a twin, and a tiny room with a twin. The kids enjoyed the downstairs family room and the games. Both full bathrooms and the half baths were very nice. The big open area encompassing the kitchen, living room and dining area was where we spent the most time enjoying our time together and the view. I can't say anything about the TV because we didn't use it. The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed, and we used environmentally friendly paper products because we didn't want to do a lot of dishes. The only thing we noticed is there weren't a lot of sharp knives if you wanted to grill steaks for a group. Otherwise it was well stocked with even measuring cups and spoons, cookie sheets, cutting boards and the like. The decor made you feel right at home. We had plenty of seating for everyone. Having the garage was a real bonus. The yard was flat enough to play some yard games. The swimming area was weedy, but that is common on most of the lakes in the area at this time of year. The water was very clear, and the kids had so much fun catching sunnies. We rented the pontoon for fishing and a speedboat from Bremmer Boats for tubing, so everyone was happy. The park next door entertained the smaller kids when we couldn't be out on the water. The pictures do not show how special this house is. Joan is a wonderful hostess and was quick to answer any and all questions promptly. I feel like we left there with a new friend. Thank you Joan for opening up this lovely property so we could build wonderful memories with our family. It was an honor to be there.

Summary: We enjoyed our time here. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative for much swimming/boating, so we had lots of time for board games. We used the deck, covered patio, and screened in porch for game marathons. We also played a lot of pool and foosball-in the basement. There were plenty of beds for our large family, and the basement was a nice place for the boys to get away from the adults. ;) The lake was pretty clear, but quite weedy by this home, as is pretty normal for a central MN lake. Joan is a lovely host and was very accommodating and great with communication. Thank you ,Joan, for sharing your home with us!

Summary: Our younger grandchildren real enjoyed the play area under the stairs. We also spent a lot of time out on your deck. The view of the lake was beautiful. The grandkids actually saw turtles come up on shore to lay their eggs. They would see them swimming in the lake too. Overall it was a very relaxing vacation which is what we were looking for.

Summary: Overall this is one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. Plenty of space to spread out for our family of 7 as well as visiting family and friends. Joan was great and made sure we knew where everything was. The use of the garage was an added bonus that we weren't expecting. This property is next to Schroeder's County Park.. which was a little concerning before we booked the stay. But being right next door to the park was great! The park beach, playground, and volleyball nets were a short walk along the shoreline. Use of the pontoon was awesome.. we caught bluegill and bass, and saw loons every time we went out on the water. The loons can be heard everyday into the evening. The kids played pool and foosball most days. Very relaxing and enjoyable week.

Summary: Spent a week here with extended family. Joan was great giving us some info by phone ahead of time and a quick walk through when we arrived. Property was spacious and clean. Joan let us know there is no dishwasher so we brought plenty of paper plates etc. The lake is a great size and not too busy so we were able to fish and tube behind our jet skis with no concerns. There were plenty of chairs outside for sitting on the large deck. Screened in porch was great on breezy days. We had a great week!

Summary: We stayed here for a mini-family reunion (8 adults, 4 kids) and it was wonderful. The house is fully-stocked with everything you would need, and it is beautiful and spacious. Joan was very accommodating and available via text if we needed anything. I would absolutely recommend this spot and we will consider it in the future.
