Summary: This house was so convenient and beautiful to host our wedding party weekend. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The best part for me was the views in the backyard. If there’s any improvements to be made, though specific to our visit, more full length mirrors would be nice to get ready for events. Otherwise lots of natural lighting, very comfy couches everywhere, it was practically perfect. Thanks to Richard for a great stay.

Summary: We booked this house for our large family to attend our daughter’s large wedding. 2020 altered our plans and the lovely house became the actual wedding venue attended by nine family members instead. There was room for distancing and conversation in the large living rooms and also around the gas fire on the screened porch. The spacious kitchen was just what we needed. It was a lovely stay!

Summary: The house was bigger than what the pictures show with great views. Located close to Madison is comfortably fit our big group. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and house was super clean and lots of towels, etc. I would stay again.

Summary: 1) Internet access was wrong on letter sent to us. 2) Soap in dispenser off of garage did not work. 3) No idea how to do outside lights. Label light switches would be very helpful. 4) Mouse droppings in drawer under stove and cabinet next to stove. We bought paper plates, cups, and plastic silverware to stay safe. 5) No towels for kitchen.

Summary: The house was big enough for our big family. We had several family members come just to eat dinner, and there was plenty of room for us all. The internet didn't work, so no one could use their tablets for work/school things, we tried to call the owner several times and only got voice mails, he never called back, but it too was a holiday weekend, he only gave us his office phone number. The kitchen was big enough for us to do all our cooking and over all for the big family and instead of hotel rooms, good value. would go back next year. One person had his hunting dogs, they were kept outside in the fenced in yard. Use the garage to get in and out of house was great too, since it was cold, didn't use the front door.

Summary: This house was great for accommodating a group of 13 adults and 3 children. The owner was very responsive to email and phone calls. Everything we needed was there, clean, and accessable. We had a great stay with beautiful sunrises!

Summary: I stayed at this house for a weekend either a group of 11 of my friends for a bachelor party. This house exceeded our expectations and more! There were enough beds for the majority of us, 3 or 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen that was well-stocked with utensils and everything else you would need to cook large meals, and a big gas grill in the garage which was amazing because we grilled most of our food. Richard the host was great as he laid out the directions on how to get to the cottage and how to use the smalls things like the coded lock on the front door. I would definitely recommend this cottage to any large groups in the future for any sort of events!
