Het volwaardige huis heeft een ruime huiskamer van 33 m2 en dito keuken (12,50 m2), 2 aparte ruime 2 persoons slaapkamers met kingsize bedden en wat een luxe, 2 aparte badkamers. Deze accommodatie is sfeervol ingericht met o.a. hergebruikt meubilair en nostalgische of eigentijdse accessoires. De mogelijkheid bestaat om dit huis met 1 tot 4 personen te huren. Extra personen eventueel in overleg. Veel privacy en rust.
Verhuurbaar aan 1 of 2 personen voor 1 slaapkamer en eigen badkamer inclusief gebruik van huiskamer en keuken.
Gehele huis: huiskamer, keuken, 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ,-- voor 3 of 4 personen. Ruime huiskamer, waarin 2 aparte knusse zitjes zijn gecreëerd en grote keuken uitgerust met koelkast, vriezer, gasplaat en magnetron.
Ruime lichte overloop van 12 m2 op de 1e etage, met luxe badkamer met douchecabine, wasbak en toilet.
Slaapkamer A bevindt zich aan de oostzijde van het huis met een oppervlakte van 12,5 m2. Deze lichte ruime en gezellig ingerichte kamer toont een aantal authentieke kleurdetails die tijdens de renovatie naar voren kwamen en heeft een stoer karakter. Mooi bedlinnen. Let op! De hoogte van de intieme dakpunt van deze slaapkamer is ongeveer 2 meter en zodoende minder geschikt voor de lange mens.
Slaapkamer B is gesitueerd aan de westzijde van het huis. Ook een licht en ruime kamer met een oppervlakte van 12 m2 met een nostalgische inrichting. Hierin bevinden zich 2 éénpersoons box springbedden van 80 x 200 of naar gelieve om te zetten in 1 tweepersoons box springbed mèt topmatras van 160 x 200. Gaarne even doorgeven bij u boeking welke bed opstelling u prefereert. Mooi bedlinnen.
Achter het huis bevindt zich een stukje afgegrensd terras met uitbundige bloemgroei waar u heerlijk van de rust en het zonnetje kunt genieten. De woning grenst aan de tuin van verhuurster, met hek omheind.
Het station is op 15 minuten lopen met regelmatig treinverkeer naar Amsterdam, Haarlem en Alkmaar, en binnen 20-30 minuten bereikbaar. Leuke toeristenplaatsjes in de buurt, zoals Egmond, Bergen, Schoorl etc.
De leuke (brocante) accessoires in mijn huis zijn tevens te koop. Mijn ruimte is bijzonder geschikt voor stellen en gezinnen met oudere kinderen (nl. geen kinderbeveiliging aanwezig).
Het betreft hier een rookvrije woning.
Geen huisdieren, groepen tieners en feesten.
Afwijkende in- en uitchecktijden, extra slaapmogelijkheid voor meerdere personen, in overleg met verhuurder.
Bakkum is altijd een gezellig bekend dorp geweest, vlakbij de bedrijvigheid van Castricum. In de buurt zijn tal van leuke uitjes te bedenken (info-map met handige tips in de woning aanwezig). Het Noord-Hollands Duinreservaat, het heerlijke strand, het Huis van Hilde, bioscoop, winkelcentrum op 1 km lopen. Een 7-tal restaurantjes op 200 m. loopafstand.
Station op loopafstand 15 minuten met regelmatig treinverkeer naar de steden Amsterdam, Haarlem of Alkmaar (20 - 30 minuten). Pittoreske dorpjes in omgeving: Bergen, Schoorl, Egmond.
De polder van Beemster en Schermer (erfgoed van Unesco)

Summary: We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks in this special holiday home. It is very conveniently located near the beach and the nature reserve, very easy to get to Amsterdam or to explore the beautiful area of North Holland by bike. Liesbeth, the landlady, is very attentive and caring and does everything to make her guests feel at home. We would love to come back if we plan another holiday in this area.

Summary: Liesbeth met us at the property, which is right by her house. That was convenient, in case we needed anything,. She greeted us with a friendly smile and what we needed to know about the place. The cottage had a washing machine, which we required after a few days in Amsterdam and a day of cycling to Liesbeth's property. The decor of the cottage was outstanding!! My daughter is a professional home stylist and I took so many pictures of the various spots in the home, because Liesbeth did an outstanding job decorating. I just had to show our daughter how lovely it all was. It was special to stay in such a clean, tidy, and pretty home. My husband and I rode our bikes to the sea, where we had a glass of wine on the beach, at a restaurant. It was one of the highlights of our stay. We both wished we could have settled into Liesbeth's cottage a little longer, because we loved it so. She made us feel very welcome and so did the cottage itself.

Summary: Our stay was very short but we truly enjoyed the house with all tastely designed items which you can buy if you want. We could feel very relaxed there. The children found a huge treasure box with Lego and boarding games. And the fridge was packed with water, wine, beer and some snacks ( payable extra but really, really cheap). Very handy if you didn’t have time go shopping! There is beautiful beach nearby and a train to Amsterdam. I can highly recommend this cosy cottage .

Summary: My husband and I with our two young children stayed at Liesbeth’s property for 6 days. We found the property cosy, clean and comfortable. We drove to Holland from the Uk and enjoyed day trips in to Amsterdam, which was only a 45 min drive.
