Sawyer retreat with room for your extended family - this updated home is close to everything in beautiful Southwest Michigan - Warren Dunes Beach, adorable Harbor Country towns such as Union Pier, Three Oaks, Harbert, Lakeside and Bridgman. Visit our spectacular wineries, breweries, shopping, and outdoor activities, etc. Red Arrow Lodge has it all - a heated outdoor pool open from May to September 15 (above ground but not trashy), fire pit, natural gas grill, and three decks to lounge about and enjoy a fenced-in yard set in the woods.
Over 2,500 square feet, the home is on two levels allowing for privacy if sharing between families.
Inside on lower level, large family room with entertainment area includes large-screen TV, Play Station 4, board games and a full-sized arcade game. Bedroom on this level contains two queen-sized beds. Sectional has queen-sized pull-out mattress for an additional sleeping option. Remodeled full bath on this floor plus laundry room.
On the top floor, a newly-remodeled kitchen,plus dining area seats 8 with additional seating at counter. Three bedrooms on this level - one contains king-sized bed, another with queen, another with full bed. Updated full bath plus half bath. Well-appointed living room on this floor is perfect for additional entertainment.
Kitchen stocked with dishware, silverware, plasticware, cookware - all the wares. We love coffee, so there is grinder, French press, espresso machine, Keurig, drip brewer, milk frother and teapot. Spices and condiments available for cooking amazing meals in a newly-updated kitchen. Other small appliances include blender, crock pot, toaster.

Summary: Mary's place was perfect for a weekend getaway from Chicago with friends! Just minutes from the Warren Dunes and Michigan Wine Trail, there was no shortage of fall activities. The bedroom layout was perfect for our group of 6 singles and we loved piling onto the downstairs couch after a full day. Due to the season we weren't able to take full advantage of the pool and backyard, but we hope to return in the summer for a longer stay.

Summary: This was our second summer stay at the house—enjoyed it immensely again. Layout is great with plenty of space, the fenced yard is so nice for our dog, and we enjoyed many afternoons in the pool. No issues at all with the house, it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Summary: We had a great stay with family. We had 8 adults with plenty of room for everyone. There are two queen beds in the large, basement bedroom, a bathroom along with a huge living room down there. Upstairs was three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a large dining table. Outside was a fenced in yard (pet friendly) and a large pool--very clean. Lots of deck and chairs for sitting. Lots of trees for shade. The house is less than 5 minutes from the Warren Dunes. We enjoyed the close by ice cream shop and a huge farm stand almost right across the street. The showers had super water pressure (I have stayed at places with low water pressure and I hate not getting the shampoo out of my hair:) Overall a great stay!

Summary: We loved this house. The backyard was such a private haven. The pool was wonderful. We were in it every day. The fenced backyard was the driving factor for our pups. No leads or leashes needed. We didn't get to do s'mores due to the extreme heat but the fire pit area was very nice.We were shocked at how close the house is to everything!! Even though we are basically local (Grand Rapids) we knew nothing about Sawyer. It is such a nice little beach town without all of the traffic and crowds. I highly recommend visiting the Sawyer Home and Garden Center. Great shopping experience. So much fun things to buy! We would stay here again for sure.
