4 Bedroom House in Sun Peaks

This 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath town house is close to the village of Sun Peaks less than 1 hour from Kamloops BC. Enter from the heated private one car garage into the main entrance, 1/2 bathroom, kitchen, dining/living room area, complete with gas fireplace and new LG 57 in. Flat screen TV. 12' high ceilings with large windows gives it an open warm resort style feel. Up one level is 3 bedrooms including one (new high quality) KING bed master suite with ensuite, as well as two spacious rooms with queen beds. Also a full 3 piece bathroom upstairs. Down one level from the main floor you will find one bedroom with a queen bed on bottom bunk and single bed on top bunk, laundry facility ,rec room with a pull out double sofa bed with a TV and video player, 3 piece bathroom with tub/shower. Outside on this level is the 6 person hot tub waiting for you after skiing at 104 degrees. Back on the main level, there is a 12'x12' deck outside with propane BQ. Enjoy the comfort of tile heated flooring in the kitchen, entry way and all bathrooms. Our unit is well stocked with all the comforts of home, including all your typical kitchen appliances such as dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, waffle maker and crock pot. Downhill ski right out your front door to the Morrisey lift or the Orient Express chair that will take you to the Sundance or Sunburst chair lifts. Enjoy the many cross country ski trails adjacent to our town house across the street at P5 Parking lot. You are able to ski right into the complex without walking or taking a bus, however you can take the bus that runs hourly to and from the Main Village. Enjoy a short 15 minute walk to the Sun Peaks village where you'll find many restaurants, ski/board shops, coffee shops etc.. A small well behaved dog may be accepted upon request. (a pet fee will apply).
There are two (first come first serve) parking spots right out the front door as well as 4 other visitor parking areas within Woodhaven.

Summary: The accommodations were great. We did have a dirty bed linen that was dealt with in a timely manner thanks to the host Bob. The Dirty Laundry Merlot wine bottle was a funny surprise with the returned laundered bedding. The place was well stocked. Hot tub was awesome and a must after a long day of skiing. The ski-in, ski-out was easier and better than anticipated, especially with young kids/skiers. My four kids favorite thing was the maintained sledding hill less than 5 min walk. This was such a wonderful place. We will definitely return.

Summary: This place was great. It was a true ski-in/ski-out. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, it had everything we needed, and the hot tub is a very nice treat at the end of a ski day. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a lovely stay. The house was clean, it was easy to spread two families of four out, and the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very easy ski in and out! Just one lift to get back to the base. It’s written in the building description, but the only downside is there is only one designated parking spot in a garage for the house, and you can’t park in front of the garage. While this might not seem like a big deal, we spent a lot of effort trying to find parking and finally just stopped moving one of the cars and only drove the car that was parked in the garage. If you’re only one family, or if you plan to walk to town, this will be a moot point! But if you have two cars, and small kids who can’t walk to town, it may involve shuffling and parking far away. Overall though, great house, good neighborhood, and we had a good time.

Summary: Excellent place. Really appreciated Bob's communication throughout the stay. Very good ski in and out...tough for new skiers, however. Picturesque walk to the village along the valley trail. Toboggan park is across the road from the house.

Summary: We had a great stay at Sun Peaks at this property! Easy run (East Village Way) off of the Orient chair area to ski back to. Access to chairlift was a short walk across the road as is the walk into the village about 15 minutes away. The unit was clean and worked well for our family.
