Summary: This house was very clean and well kept. I am in the medical field, so my expectations of clean are high, especially considering this is a pet friendly home. The house is decorated and aesthetically pleasing, but in a very comfortable way for pets and children. The screened in porch and fenced yard area were perfect for our furry family members! The view of the lake was very pretty, fantastic for any bird lovers. Our family enjoyed fishing in the area as well. Only two minor notes to keep in mind is that the kitchen isn’t big enough for many cooks, and many of the beds are kid size. My teen and young adult sons are over six feet tall, and didn’t fit in the bunks well. Fortunately there was plenty of room for a long air mattress. If there are lots of kids in your group the bed count will be perfect.

Summary: other than a glitz in the early arrival everything went great. worked out great for the family to get together and watch our grandson play in a soccer tournament in high point. could use a few more wash cloths and water in the lake.( ha ha). thank you again for sharing your house with us. we will be back

Summary: Very clean house in a quiet neighborhood with easy check-in. Plenty of room for our family of eight! Loved the back screen porch, and was looking forward to s’mores at the fire pit before the rain began.

Summary: We stayed in this lovely property while visiting family to celebrate my grandpa’s 99th birthday. The house was immaculate and well equipped. I was in charge of the cakes. The beds were comfy, the sunsets stunning and the neigborhood was so tranquil. My kids kept asking if we could just move in. It truly felt like a home, we would gladly stay here again. Communicating with the property owner was easy and she was very responsive. It truly was lovely.

Summary: We spent a great week at the Spartan Lake House, and we had everything we needed for the relaxation we were looking for. We didn’t cook on this vacation and explored a lot of different areas and restaurants since it’s very central to go from Lexington to Thomasville, High Point, Salisbury, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Charlotte, but the kitchen seemed well stocked if we had wanted to. If you have kids or are just animal lovers like we are, check out the Lazy 5 Ranch drive thru/safari like park only about 40 minutes from here. The king bed in the master was very comfortable, and we spent the majority of our time on the great screened in back porch, enjoying the lovely weather and great view of the lake, as well as the geese and other bird visitors. Lovely neighborhood with kids playing on the quiet street. We really appreciated being able to bring the dogs. We look forward to coming back here again and would recommend it.

Summary: We were visiting family, to help renovate my fathers home so we needed a quiet place to call home for 9 days and this was the perfect spot. We were also traveling with our two fur kids so it was great that this property allowed our dogs. Our favorite spot was the back deck and fire pit and the views were peaceful and relaxing after a long day. It was clean and exactly as shown. Our host was quick to respond on queries. We will be back and thanks again for a lovely spot!
