Villa near Lovina. Accommodates 8 guests in 4 double bedrooms, 4 FULL EN SUITE bathrooms. Direct beach access. Floor area is some 460 sq m (5000 sq ft) and occupies about one quarter of the tropical garden area. A spacious open plan lounge and terrace has commanding views over the Bali Sea. A large 'infinity' swimming pool is both suitable for young families as well as the more serious bather. Outside living is enhanced by two large gazebo's - furnished with soft mattresses and cushions as well as lighting and power points. Wifi Internet. Staff include a housekeeper/cook and a gardener and night time security is provided 7-days a week. The housekeeper is happy to cook and shop for you during her working hours. In the North there are still many traditional plantations, waterfalls, temples and villages that perform various trades. Walks in the vicinity of the villa along the beach and beside the fields and temples give many opportunities for the avid photographer and allows you a window on the life of the still traditional ways of this unspoiled area of Bali. There are many activities to keep you amused during your stay. Jump on a local boat from our beach to visit the dolphins (sometimes you can see them from the villa). Visit waterfalls, hot springs, and temples. Golf is 45 minutes away as is the Botanical Garden. Tennis is 20 minutes away. The best diving and snorkelling is at Menjangan Island. You can play badminton and croquet in the garden. There are lovely restaurants just 5 minutes drive. Lovina (15 mins) has more restaurants a tourist shops. You can easily hire a car. Alternatively you could rent a small motorbike or bicycle. We can help you organise airport transfer and any other trips. Massage and yoga can be arranged at the villa. You will be provided with all the help you need to make your stay as peaceful or as active as you would like. The rent includes: Bedding,Towels, Shampoo, Soap, Safe for your valuables, Laundry service, Internet (provide your own computer),10% Tourist tax & government registration, Housekeeping and Security, Gas and Electricity (by normal use), English-speaking Helpdesk stand-by. Summary: We are seasoned Bali visitors and Valerie & Nigel’s property was the perfect peaceful & relaxing break we needed. The genuinely warm Balinese staff were very welcoming, the property combined beachfront and greenery amazingly well, and the swimming pool was a proper one rather than the plunge pool that many villas tend to have. Transfers, tours, food (cooked in villa by the staff) were extremely reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a calm retreat, away from the bustle of South Bali- Villa Puri Segara is perfect! It is a bit off the beaten track- so F&B options are a bit limited/far- but we knew that and didn’t have any issues at all. We will be back.

Summary: super villa with very nice and friendly staff that treated us so well the whole time - Iluh's cooking is amazing, we enjoyed that a lot - the beach is nice and you can walk through rice paddies to the main road for simple shopping - would love to come and stay here again and for longer next time :-) thanks a lot

Summary: We have recently returned from a glorious ten days at this outstanding villa. The first thing I would like to stay is that the photographs whilst beautiful do not do this villa justice. In reality, you will be blown away by the villa itself (the interiors are gorgeous) and the panoramic views. We spent 10 days and hardly left the house because really you don’t need to everything you could possibly desire is here. The Villa has its own deep green pool, which mimicks swimming in natural lake water which I particularly loved. It is also particularly deep at the deep end which satisfies stronger swimmers. We have three children and they enjoyed swimming in the pool everyday and the sea. Its amazing to have both as some people prefer the sea to the pool and vice versa and most people prefer a bit of both. The pool and the sea front of the villa have some relaxing and beautiful tent like seating areas where you can dry up have some tea, read, play cards or just sleep. I really enjoyed relaxing with the family here when we took a break from swimming. We have a 4 year old child who can’t swim and there are a few steps and a shallow end allowed him to enjoy the shallow side free of arm bands and enjoyed the rest of the pool with arm bands. Access to the house from the pool is all through locked doors, and that was a measure I used in the morning to make sure my child didn’t creep out in the morning. So that was a relief. Made the housekeeper was excellent – we asked her to cook for us, and all meals were delicious, prompt and ready on time, this was great with a large group and young children who were hungry from swimming. Locally, there are many restaurants and water sport activities that you can partake in. Transport with Nigel’s driver bang bang needs to be arranged so it’s a good idea to buy an Indonesian phone chip as there are no taxis and most places you may need to go to wouldn’t be walking distance. We ordered food in a few times and when we wanted to go out, bang bang took us out for shopping and restaurants. The villa is a balm to the soul. You will feel happy and restored and forget the woes of the world at the villa. We plan to return again, as it was such an incredible experience.

Summary: Puri Segara Villa (not to be confused with Puri Sagara Village) is a magnificent private house built on the beach at Tangguwisia on the northern coast of Bali. As you approach the villa through the rice paddies and vineyards you leave the pressures of real live behind. On arrival we were greeted by our two lovely housekeepers, Komang and Made. They opened the double front doors to reveal a view of the Bali Sea beautifully framed by the house. Most of our travel and exploration plans began to evaporate at this point. Instead we decided that we had probably found the most beautiful spot on the island and decided to stay put. One of the very few excursions we did make was a dolphin watching trip. The boat arrived at six o’clock at the bottom of the garden. We climbed aboard and saw the sunrise and a huge number of dolphins playing in the surf. At sea the spectacular volcanic scenery of the island is even more stunning. The house sits in a beautiful garden expertly maintained by Putu, the full-time gardener. It has a wonderful infinity pool and is set right on the beach. Our kids loved the new routine of a swim before breakfast and playing on the beach all day. Komang and Made looked after our every need shopping for us and producing wonderful Balinese meals three times a day and spoiling the kids. It was a horrible wrench to leave but we all decided that we would return.

Summary: We stayed 3 nights in this wonderful beach front Villa. And the moment we entered the villa we already knew, that we should stay much more days. The villa is quite, The villa has a fantastic view. The villa is exactly like on the pictures - no sorry - better than on the pictures. The property is best maintained, the garden is absolutely wonderful and the villa is big enough for 8 people. 4 rooms with 4 bathrooms…….! The customer service was absolutely perfect and professional. The villa is located in Sertit and by scooter it is 15 minutes drive to Lovina. The maids Made und Komang are lovely and cooked the best food for us. There was no reason for us to eat in any restaurant - because the view in this villa and the food are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Direct at the beach in front of the villa - fisher boats picked us up, when we went to see hundreds of Dolphins in free nature at the sea. And after seeing the dolphins we stayed at the sea to snorkel. I definitely recommend this villa to all of my friends and will definitely come back This place is like paradise.

Summary: This is our second visit to this idyllic paradise villa in northern Bali and it is the most beautiful and calm setting to relax in. The owners and staff go out of their way to make sure that your holiday is everything you could dream of and more. The facilities are to a high specification but you are urged to treat the villa as your own home (I wish!!). The local attractions, especially the waterfalls and the volcanic spa, must be visited and the local restaurants (if you can tear yourself away from the pool and sea) are of a good variety and enjoyable. The local people are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The highlight of the last holiday for me, however, was going out to sea in a local boat and being surrounded by hundreds of dolphins - an experience which will probably never be repeated. I can highly recommend this villa and area to anyone who is wishing to escape the 'rat race' and just wants to chill. I hope to revisit next year.
