Amazing deluxe 2-bedroom townhouse with sunny terrace and sea views of the Mediterranean. Located in the heart of the Old Town, just a short stroll to the historic church square (2 minutes), Restaurants, terraces, trendy boutiques (2 minutes), beachfront (6 minutes). All the magic of Altea is literally on your doorstep.
Built directly onto the historic city walls, this spacious two-bedroom house will amaze and delight you. Reformed to an exceptionally high standard and furnished with works of art and interesting objects, the house
now offers a unique combination of, on the one hand, century-old stone walls, antique floors and doors, and on the other hand all the comfort and luxury you would want for a relaxing holiday: 2 large double bedrooms with very comfortable 2 meter long beds, each with their bathroom and toilet; a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and a relaxing terrace with a view over the whole bay of Altea.
For those arriving by car, there is parking directly behind the house, and we are also only a few minutes walk from a large free public car park.
The townhouse has received several awards on different websites. Even winning joint first prize in the English TV series ‘May the Best House Win’. Our reviews highlight the cleanness, the comfort of the bed and bathroom, the superb location, the flair of its design, and the furnishing with interesting and beautiful objects.
Altea is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa Blanca. Its old center, with narrow streets of cobblestones, pretty white houses, and a light that has inspired painters throughout the decades, is a perfect place to spend your holidays and even more so if you can do that in a stunning townhouse that combines luxury, style, tradition and spellbinding sea views
Accommodation
This luxury townhouse is set over four floors and is the perfect accommodation for two to four persons. The main entrance with antique doors is on the ground level. This level has a luxury kitchen, dining area, and a small terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, a high-spec oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Dining table with 4 chairs.
The master bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor. This bedroom has lovely sea views and a balcony. The luxurious double bed is 1.50 X 2.00 and has a high-quality mattress that is complemented by the finest quality cotton sheets to help you enjoy a restful and comfortable night's sleep. The windows are double glazed and the air conditioning and floor heating ensure that the room will always offer you the perfect temperature. The built-in wardrobes provide sufficient storage for short or longer stays.
The state-of-the-art bathroom is entirely decorated with polished cement walls and beautiful antique floor tiles. It consists of an extra-large walk-in shower, suspended toilet, and luxury hand basin. Fluffy white towels are supplied as well as separate beach towels.
On the second floor, there is an elegant living room with a spacious sunny terrace. Just imagine having coffee while you see the sunrise from the sea in the mornings, or relaxing with a refreshing drink after a day of sightseeing.
The sunny terrace is equipped with sun loungers and relaxing chairs.
The lower ground level has a second entrance from the square. On this level, there is a bedroom with two single beds ( 0.90 x 2.00) and an ‘ensuite’ bathroom. Here also the beds have the same high-quality mattresses and the finest cotton sheets. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower built into the original arches from the city walls, a washbasin, and a separate toilet. An internal staircase brings you to the ground level.

Summary: This property has everything. The design of the townhome is so fun and livable. The 4 balconies have wonderful views. The upper living room is so bright and spacious. The view from the upper terrace is so charming. We had a glass of wine while we were watching the sailboat races. The kitchen is great and well supplied for cooking in. It was stocked with condiments, tea, coffee, paper towels plenty of toilet paper, dish washing liquid and plenty of dish towels. The bed was very comfortable as was all the furniture. The location in incredible, you can walk everywhere and get everything you could possibly need. Cannot say enough good things about this home. We were very sad to leave. Guido was so helpful and checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. We plan to return

Summary: Located in a quiet street yet minutes away from the historic attractions and a good selection of quality restaurants, the townhouse really was a superb find. The views from the top floor of the townhouse are simply stunning and the beach front itself is only about a short 5 minute walk away. The house itself was spotless and had everything you would expect, the overall decor and quality was both chic and relaxing. We were fortunate to meet the host who was fantastic, the communication and guides being first rate. Would definitely recommend and will probably return. Parking close by was no problem with plenty of spaces in the car parks nearby if needed

Summary: We had a fantastic stay, the townhouse is beautiful and ideally located in the heart of the old town with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The house is spacious, feels luxurious and has everything you could possibly need , including a modern well equipped kitchen. The views, especially from the living room terrace are amazing ! The communication with Sue was great. She is such a thoughtful host and provided us with lots of helpful advice and information before we arrived, including recommendations for restaurants where we enjoyed some lovely meals. We returned home happy and relaxed and would love to stay again, would thoroughly recommend

Summary: The property is a traditional house in Altea old town near to the church. A quiet area but close to the square by the central church. We will need to bet reasonably fit (or you will be by the time you leave!) as the house is spread over four floors and it is a steep walk back up from the beach with lots of steep steps. Having said that, after a month we have got use to it and we would probably select the same house if we were to return to Altea.

Summary: This is a beautiful property.The view from the 3rd floor terrace is spectacular.The only issue was noise was a problem.There was construction going on across the road which started at 7 am.Hopefully that will be done soon.Then there is noise from people walking by and at the lookout. On our last night they were making noise until 530 am.This May have been due to the. Christian celebration this past weekend.If you kept all windows closed it may be better but as I am not a fan of air conditioning we kept windows open for the breeze.There are a lot of stairs to get into town which we did not find a problem.Good work out for cabs.The kitchen was well appointed so it is easy to cook.Altea is a beautiful town.I can not say enough about the beauty of the town.Sitting on the terrace watching the sunrise each day is magical.All in all it was lovely.For those not coming from North America and suffering from jet lag the noise probably will not be a problem.Bring ear plugs just in case.Suzanne the host provided info and was easily accessible.

Summary: We have just returned from Sue & Peter's town house and we have had an excellent time. The house is in a superb position in the old town and the accommodation is 1st class. Everything in this house oozes quality and is a superb mixture of quirkiness and luxury. Sue & Peter are excellent host's and made booking and settling in really easy with advise and suggestions of what the Old town had to offer and the best places to eat etc.. It is clearly evident that both have put a huge amount of thought, design, time and money into the reform of this lovely house and the location and views are the icing on the cake. It's the first time we have stayed in Altea and we loved the vibe, the cleanliness and of course the sun shine. The character of the old town with the cobbled streets, the architecture and the really chilled out pace of life made this stay unforgettable. Simply Superb in every respect and one of the best breaks we have had to relax, catch some sun and recharge our batteries in lovely surroundings. We will definitely be returning and many thanks to Sue & Peter for making our time in their lovely house so enjoyable. Would recommend without hesitation ..... Paul Barrow
