The perfect spot on the lake for a vacation! This 3-level A-frame home nestled on a 3 acre wooded lot sits on the Main Lake, and is tucked back just enough to have plenty of room for floating, swimming, fishing and kayaking.
The main level has large glass windows with spectacular lake views and features a cathedral ceiling with a cozy but open living room/kitchen combination. Sliding doors lead out to a large deck space with new deck furniture featuring 4 rocking chairs, a large dining table with seating and 4 additional Adirondack chairs. This main level has a King bedroom, as well as a bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is a full bathroom with a shower and tub.
A set of stairs leads up to the Master Suite Loft with a King bed and full bath. Views of the lake can be seen through the double doors of this suite.
A set of stairs leads down from the main level to a walkout basement area with a pool table, game table, large sectional couch and TV. There are 2 bedrooms on this floor - a King bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed. The full bathroom for this floor is located in the laundry area and has a shower. A second refrigerator is in this room as well.
The basement leads out to a large covered patio with a swinging bed - perfect for reading and relaxing. There is also a large outdoor shower and changing room off this patio.
Take the gently sloping walkway down to the boat dock and sandy beach area. Here you can sit in the shade at the dock bar with great lake views or get some sun in one of the 4 lounge chairs or 4 Adirondack chairs. The water right off the end of the dock is 7 feet deep (gets deeper as you swim out) and is ideal for swimming, floating and fishing. The large sandy beach is the perfect entry for younger children to play in the water. There is ample room on the beach to launch/park your wave runner, jet skis, canoes or kayaks. A sea kayak is provided for your use. The beach includes a volleyball court and is great for family games like badminton, cornhole and bocce ball.
This home is located within one of the premier subdivisions on the NC side of the lake between mile marker 5 and 6. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, jogging, & biking. There is a boat ramp right in the neighborhood. Our dock has an extra boat slip and an area with boat cleats for your use (The owner's boat lifts will not be accessible).
This home is about a 10 minute drive to the nearby town of Littleton, NC. There is a restaurant called the Blue Jay Bistro (voted as one of the top 5 restaurants in the Triangle), Daphne's Lake Gaston coffee shop, several cute boutique stores, a wine store, Timber Waters Brewery, ABC store, Casa Mia Italian restaurant, No. 1 Asian restaurant, Grandpa's Kitchen BBQ, Veteran's Museum and the Acorn Center featuring family-friendly events, musicals, movies and shows. You can even visit the Big Foot Museum in town and sign up for a local Ghost Tour.

Summary: We stayed in this lovely lake house for a long weekend with our grown children, their spouses and our four granddaughters. When we arrived at the property, we were thrilled with the charming house and the incredible view. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated and gorgeously landscaped. We rented a boat and easily docked it at the boat house. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off of the dock, watched football at the bar in the boat house and made s'mores in the fire pit. It truly is an enchanting place and we thank you for a most memorable vacation!

Summary: This location and home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The views are amazing, house is cozy and clean with everything you need. Summary: What you see and read about with this home is exactly what you get! This beautiful home was perfect for our annual lake trip getaway! The location was great! The sunsets were absolutely amazing! We brought our boat, so launching from the neighborhood dock was a huge plus and tying up to their dock was not a problem. When we weren’t on the boat, we spent most of the time on the volleyball court/beach area playing volleyball, spike ball, and Kan Jam or just hanging out on the amazing dock. We did enjoy the fire pit one night and used the wood we had brought with us but it appeared that there was a pile of wood there already. There were 9 of us in our group, so having 2 refrigerators for drinks and food was a huge plus! The house was clean and stocked with everything you’d need. The outdoor shower was one of the nicest I’ve seen, and everybody wanted to use it, even though there were 3 others inside to use! Water pressure was amazing in every shower! Lol!! This house definitely checked many boxes that we always look for in a lake trip home! Also working with Amy was very easy and we’d definitely recommend this home to everyone!

Summary: The house was beautiful. Sunsets were perfect and the beach was the best beach on lake Gaston we have seen. The kids spent hours just playing on the beach and with the kayak they provided. The neighborhood has its own boat launch which made putting our boat in very convenient. The house was a perfect size for our group of 6 kids and 4 adults. We would definitely stay here again. We talked to the neighbors and they were as nice as can be as well!

Summary: Our party included 6 adults and 3 teenagers. We all had a very enjoyable time, with all the amenities to make it a comfortable stay. The home is accurately described in the listing. The one thing it did not include in the listing description, is how incredibly friendly the neighbors are. George next-door invited us to jump off his upper dock into the lake and even came over to join us in a great conversation around the fire. The beach is perfect and everyone loved being able to relax on the beach and having their feet in the sand. The views from the lake are perfect! To include incredible sunsets every evening. We would definitely recommend this home to family and friends and have already discussed a possible return in 2024 if its available.

Summary: The house is eclectic, just my taste! Very clean! At the boat house and dock or on the boats, is where we spent our days. Children from ages 5 to 17 had a blast. Fishing and catching little fish that were at the dock. Playing in the water at the little beach. Taking showers outside! The grands loved it and want to go back... today! Thank you Amy.

Summary: This is a nice clean property with a great location on the lake. Very good communication with the hosts. Nice beds and plenty of kitchenware. We have stayed at many lake houses and wouls definitely recommend this place to others!
