Spectacular townhouse located in the centric and exclusive street of “Passatge de Permanyer” in Barcelona. Built in 1864, this passage has become historical heritage of our city, and is considered as one of the loveliest streets in Barcelona. It is a small private street, where you can find English styled townhouses at both sides. Its privacy offers the guest the tranquillity of a country house and the benefits of being located in the city centre, only at 50 metres of the famous “Passeig de Gràcia” Street, Barcelona’s main commercial Street where you will find two it’s most emblematic constructions, “La Perdrera” and la “Casa Batlló” both designed by Antoni Gaudi.
For all those who desire to avoid big, impersonal hotels, in this house you will find a personal and familiar treatment, a calmed atmosphere in the exact city centre of Barcelona and all the commodities of a new house, recently remodelled.
This townhouse offers 4 bedrooms, 3 of them suites with a private bathroom inside and the forth one with also a private bathroom in the hall. Its capacity is for 10 people and it has many common areas where to relax and enjoy of the benefits offered by a house.
The house has 4 floors and the interior staircase connecting the living & dinning room (on the 1st floor) with 3 bedrooms and kitchen (on the -0,5 floor), the 4th bedroom (on the 2nd floor) and the rooftop on the 3rd floor. The games room & laundry room are in the basement. There are also wide stairs at the main entrance.
Since 2020 we don't offer a brekfast or daily cleaning; we offer a weekly cleaning for stays longer than 7 nights.
There is a small, totally separate apartment in the basement area, with a separate entrance, where Joy, our housekeeper, lives. Joy takes care about our house when it's empty and doesn't enter at all into the guests' part, you probably won't see her at all :)
SPACE:
1. RED Suite: two beds, the first queen size double and the other a real single bed. Very spacious and spectacular bathroom with a huge shower. Two bright windows overlooking the garden outside the passage.
2. YELLOW Suite: spectacular suite of over 30 square meters. A king size bed and one single real bed. It has a huge bathroom with a big bathtube for up to six people.
3. Suite STRIPES: comfortable suite overlooking the garden outside the house, with a double queen size bed. It has a bathroom for the exclusive use of this room right next to it.
4. BLUE Suite: bedroom with a double queen size bed and bathroom in the same room. Is located on a first floor, so it is a bit separated from the other three bedrooms.
Together with the rooms the house offers:
-70m2 living room;
-Dining room with a capacity for 10 people;
-70m2 game room, with a table tennis and a pool table (open until midnight);
-Big terrace where you can sunbathe or enjoy an afternoon or night drink;
-Totally equipped kitchen with the latest electrical appliances;
-Cinema screen (3,5 m wide X 2 m high) with a projector and Netflix & Disney Plus;
Offices and private meeting rooms available (in the same house) if any guests require it.
Everything you need for a unique stay is included in the price:
- Wireless High-Speed,
- Heating and air conditioning throughout the house,
- Linens & towels,
- Soap, bath gel, shampoo, hairdryers.
The hosts are happy to help making reservations and recommending restaurants, tapas bars and drinks, plans for Barcelona, etc.. Furthermore, you can ask for a baby-sitter.
With its central location, the Eixample has excellent transport links; Underground trains and buses and trains Renfe, not only around the city but also to reach El Prat Airport and other European cities.
OUR HOUSE RULES:
Our standard check-in time is from 3 pm but we always try to adapt to our guests if we don't have another group of people checking-out the same day. One of us will be waiting for you in the house at the time previously agreed to give you the keys and help you with anything you may need. There is no 24 hours reception so it's very important for us to know your exact arrival time and your flight number. There is an extra fee for late check-in: from 8 pm to 10 pm - 30€, after 10 pm - 50€ to be paid in cash when you arrive. Please remember we are available to make check-ins only until midnight, if you arrive later, we'll meet you next day from 12pm
Our standard check-out time is before 11 am but we also try to adapt to our guests if we can.
Please remember that the house is located on a private street, closed at night from 8 pm to 8 am and on weekends. If you go out at this time, please do not forget to close the door of the street with the key.
Please don’t disconnect the cables of the home cinema; if you want to connect your own device, please use the HDMI adaptor. If the cables are disconnected and for this reason the home cinema is not working, we will charge the technician's invoice from your security deposit.
We believe everybody should save the planet. That’s why, in general, we change your towels once a week. Please help us to save more energy and turn off the lights and the air conditioning every time you go out.
Please, DON’T SMOKE in the house, you are free to smoke in the garden or in the house roof.
Remember there are other neighbors in the other houses so we ask you not to be loud at night, especially if you are in the garden or in the house roof. Please have big parties out of the house.
Please do not use the towels as a make-up remover. It is very difficult to clean these stains.
Don't worry if you break something or lose the key (we know accidents can happen and for that the security deposit is) but please let us know about it immediately, so we can fix it as soon as possible and the next guests can also enjoy all the comforts of our apartment.
Summarizing: please take care of the house as if it was yours. We are sure you will love many things you can find in the house; keep them for the next guests.
