Relax and unwind in a charming Spanish Hacienda casita located a short 15 minute drive from the Santa Fe Plaza. You will enjoy spectacular views of both the Jemez and Sangre de Cristo mountains from the quiet sitting room or your private covered portal. The casita is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, small dining area, Kiva gas fireplace in the sitting room, bedroom with a king bed, and bath with a jetted tub and shower. There is access from the bedroom to a central partially covered courtyard built in the traditional Spanish style. The casita has a distinctive Southwestern feel with tile floors, hand plastered walls, and beamed ceiling. It is completely furnished with colorful, tasteful and warm decor and art. Modern amenities are included such as a flat panel TV, wireless internet, and full-sized kitchen appliances. The property is located northwest of downtown Santa Fe near Las Campanas off of Hwy. 599. The property owners have retired from owning two Select Registry B&B inns in the historic district of Santa Fe. The same care and attention to detail demonstrated in the operating these two inns for over 25 years is shown here.

Summary: The first thing we noticed was the incredible view, including spectacular sunsets. The home is cozy but with more than enough space for the two of us. The kitchen was nicely equipped, and we enjoyed the fireplace when it got chilly in the evening. An easy 12-15 minute drive from downtown. We strongly recommend this home if you’re looking for a relaxing stay near Santa Fe and don’t mind a quick drive to get downtown.

Summary: Cozy, well appointed, impeccably clean, stars so many stars. Please note the shower water pressure is a little low for my taste. Shouldn’t stop you from staying here and enjoying the clean air and peacefulness of Santa Fe!
