Summary: Hotel is fine, but honestly felt like quite a let down given my expectations from other reviews. The location is nice but other than that it felt quite basic. Also, no real facilities and we were put in a room in a separate building which was presented as an 'upgrade' to a suite but instead felt detached from the hotel. I was looking for a nice hotel stay and it felt a bit more like an airbnb where you couldn't even eat the snacks left out for you because it's actually the minibar. Sort of the worst of both worlds. Terrible water pressure for the shower and mould on the ceiling of the room.

Summary: This is a quaint hotel close to the bustling Howard Smith Wharf area with many dining and entertainment options as well as the very handy Brisbane ferry service to easily transport you to South Bank, another get spot to see while there. The only issue is the rooms can be noisy with traffic and people chatting in the restaurant. The staff will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have anything you need to make your stay comfortable.
