The hospitality shown by the hosts made us feel like we were staying with family rather than at a guest house. The guest house itself is a beautiful example of traditional Ladakhi architecture — simple, elegant, and harmoniously blending with the serene surroundings. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed to reflect the local culture, creating a truly immersive experience. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the food. Every meal served was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. We were also touched by the little things — like the complimentary Pepper Mint tea during the day and soothing Chamomile tea in the evenings, both served unlimited and always with a smile. These small gestures went a long way in making our stay so comforting and memorable. Sponbo Guest House is more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience of Ladakhi warmth and culture. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the region. We left with hearts full of gratitude and hope to return someday!

Positive: The family is running the entire homestay and they have beautifully decorated their house inside and out. They have ample of parking space which is free of cost. The Garden area is eye catching and had some exotic fruits from the fruit orchard which I never had before . Those were yummy 🤤 They serve you with Mint tea in the day time and Chamomile tea for the night which is free of cost and you can ask unlimited time which is why I love Sponbo 😋 They took very good care of us while staying . Not even a minute went by when they were not checking on us.

Positive: The caretaker Mr Norbu was very helpful and friendly …He arranged everything we needed like arranging Bikes, procuring the Permits, suggesting offbeat places, and even helped in booking flights back to Delhi cheaper than the online price ! It’s a one-stop solution . Mr Norbu manages everything you needed with ease 😊👍He is the most reliable person I’ve ever seen in my entire Ladakh journey . The rooms of the Guest House were very clean nd well maintained by the caretaker and the food was awesome . Home made delicious and Healthy foods are served by aunty 😊 You will love the location as it’s pure serenity surrounded by beautiful flowers and garden ! Sponbo would be my second home in Ladakh ☺️

Positive: Sponbo is a family run guest house in Leh ! What a perfect location this is, particularly if you enjoy peace and tranquility. You feel connected with nature with beautiful gardens maintained by the family . Had great conversation with the family and got the opportunity to know about the tradition and culture of Ladakh which is very important for a tourist when exploring new places . This is possible if you stay in a Homestay . Hotels they just mind their own business. But the Homestay’s are the real promoter of their area, culture, tradition and the way of living . Absolutely loved the stay, food, conversation and would recommend Sponbo Guest House 100 % . I would definitely stay at Sponbo whenever I visit Leh again !
