3 Bedroom Cottage in Menai Bridge

Spring cottage has a large hallway, a utility room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. Within the utility room is a shower with WC. The living space comprises a large open plan sitting and dining area with kitchen at the far end. The kitchen is modern and well-appointed with fridge, dishwasher, oven with grill and a microwave , kettle and toaster. The cottage has a freezer. television, hi-fi and DVD player, a wood burning stove for cold winter evenings.
Downstairs there are two double bedrooms with king size beds and en suite facilities. The bathroom has wheelchair access. The family bedroom is upstairs, king size bed and day bed which converts to two single beds, ideal for children. A spacious family room with en suite shower room, WC and hand basin. An exclusive patio with wonderful views of Snowdonia, tranquil setting ideal for families. There is plenty of space for supervised children to play safely, away from busy roads.
The cottages are designed and furnished to Tourist Board 5 star standards and are in the midst of rural farmland and central to the Anglesey and Snowdonia playground, coastal path walks, climbing, winter mountaineering, canoeing, surfing, kite surfing, horse riding, golf, sailing (can recommend a good yacht!), beaches, castles, masses of interesting places to visit, good restaurants, DW Sports gym, the list is endless.

Summary: We came with our friends as an early 60th birthday celebration for me. On arrival the Cottage was lovely & warm, the beds were made up with clean linen, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Plenty of room for 6 x Adults, with extras such as the utility room which was ideal for cleaning our walking boots, 2 x fridges and a freezer, dishwasher etc.,. The Cottage was very remote, but I feel this added to the charm of our stay, the surrounding area was beautiful. We walked up Snowdon, went to Zipworld for activities, visited Betsy-co-Ed and also spent a good few hours at Portmeirion on our way home. So much to do in the local area, and for us, so little time to do everything! The seating area would have been a bit tight had there been 8 people, a suggestion could be to include two large bean-bags. The Cottage was lovely and clean on arrival and we all had a brilliant weekend. The price pppn for us was excellant, the Cottage was a very welcoming & warm refuge at the end of each busy and tiring day, and for all these points we are happy to give 5* ......and I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Summary: Plenty of space and ideal that the three bedrooms are all en-suite. Bedlinen and towels provided, along with cleaning materials etc and also a welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee and some Welsh cake/biscuits. It's in the middle of nowhere, with no signs, so you really do need the directions, but these are excellent. Phone signal was pretty good and internet also not bad at all considering the location. We'd definitely return - it was an ideal place for meeting up with family. There are good restaurants nearby too and a local taxi company.
