Positive: Claire the host was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I booked the cottage very last minute on Boxing day. Claire went out of her way to make us comfortable, even though it probably disrupted her Christmas arrangements. We found the cottage warm and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable. Communication with Claire was easy and her replies were prompt and helpful.. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the setting.

Negative: The only thing that could have been improved was the sofa bed, which was slightly firm to sit on.

Positive: Just about everything really, I work all over the country as a contractor. This has got to be up there with the best quiet location lovely wildlife and horses on site.

Negative: To be fair there was only one thing and it wasn’t about the property. It was about one of our neighbours. I’ve got a bit tipsy one night. I made a bit of dice for an hour but the woman took it overboard demanded a refund which we pay for to keep the peace but then the woman gave a landlady a really bad review about everything which was wrong if you had a complaint about the noise, it doesn’t mean the place was bad in all the other ways. I think this woman does it on a regular basis. Don’t need people like her staying in accommodation giving people a bad review which is so wrong my dad has apologise for making all that noise. Don’t be put off by people with sour grapes.

Summary: Peaceful, friendly, very welcoming you want for nothing whilst you stays here. Everything is at hand.

Positive: Had everything you needed, and a fab location. Claire sent a lot of really useful information before we arrived, which helped us massively. Location was perfect for getting to Silverstone.

Positive: Lovely rural location on private land and view over fields. Very quiet , which I like. Only a few miles from Towcester. Nice walks in the area.

Negative: Not a criticism , but a chopping board for vegetables etc would be a good addition to kitchen equipment.

Summary: I had a very pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend.

Positive: A delightful little place, magically warm and comfortable after long days out. The bathroom was AMAZING and the bed epically huge and snug.

Negative: Something that's true of everywhere I go - all showers are slightly different, and a laminated picture showing which things to twiddle would make bleary-eyed early mornings much less full of surprises.

Positive: Host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. It was safe for the children. All amenities needed were present on site, a lovely pub in the nearby village and tesco/aldi within a 10 min drive. We were also parked in silverstone within 15 mins. It is a very scenic place and the children loved the horses being outside and meeting the little dog.
