Summary: This hotel is very cute/quaint and it is nice to have a restaurant attached. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. There was someone available to help us figure out the key locks out front and the restaurant staff was exceptionally helpful (the food was great as well). The hotel is a bit old but that is part of the charm. Unfortunately, we had a few neighbors that were louder than they should have been (walls are thin and floors squeak...again, it's part of the charm). But I cannot judge the property on a few loud people that should have left the bar area earlier than they did. :)

Summary: Staff were nice, the place was clean and cute. We booked this last minute when we got to the first place we booked and realized we couldn’t stay so it was a relief to find this at the last minute. We ate dinner in the attached restaurant and it was good. Close to UConn.

Summary: Property is fine but nobody was working when we arrived at 10:30am. Also was a carbon monoxide issue and we were evacuated at 1am and apparently they had the same issue the night before

Summary: Feedback: Spring Hill Inn My husband and I were looking forward to our evening at the Inn- a date night after the UConn basketball game. The restaurant was great for dinner, but when we returned to room number 3 after the game, it was so cold, and the quilt was inadequate for keeping us warm. In the middle of the night, my husband went out to the hallway to try and find a thermostat. He found one in the hall which allowed us a little more heat for only 45 minutes. Honesty, we were so uncomfortable that we left early. This leads me to the final piece of feedback.We tried to get some coffee from the breakfast area on the first floor, but there were no lights that we could turn on to see how to work the coffee machine. Maybe they were on some kind of timer, but again it was inadequate and really uncomfortable. Because there was staff person on-site, we had no one to speak to about remedying our situation.

Summary: Janaki, our hostess, was very accommodating. She met us at the door and escorted us to our room. She even carried my partner's suitcase for her. She even returned a few minutes later to check on our comfort, as regards the temperature. We both slept quite well. The beds were firm, but not "rock hard". The bedding was perfect, considering the outside temps were in the high 20's. Next morning, we had choices of yogurts (sugar-free, which is rare), pumpkin muffins, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh fruit and a few other goodies down in the "common lounge", where we met 2 couples from Minnesota, who were in CT for the Nutmeg Classic (a Women's Ice Hockey tournament, being hosted by UConn). Their daughters were playing for one of the schools. All-in-all, a very nice experience and a great place to stay!

Summary: Quiet, no frills antique inn. Breakfast items were boring, so we ate elsewhere. Checkin was easy, bed was comfy with microfiber sheets (don't like them personally).

Summary: 6 room guest house very close to UConn campus. House is very old I suppose historic with original uneven floors. Bathroom was nicely updated but small. Hosts were very nice. May stay again due to location. Wish there was a sidewalk or walking path along Storrs Rd.
