Positive: Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and good water pressure, good fridge. Easy parking, quiet at night, handy location, guest laundry, nice pool. Air con good.

Negative: Nothing really. Paint work a little tired with a couple of scuff marks if I was going to be picky.

Positive: It’s close to the motorway entrance to either head up to Brisbane or down to the Gold Coast. Close to shopping centre and the Springwood pub.

Negative: Each room packed in like sardines: we could clearly hear the conversations of our neighbours - and their drinking and BBQing until 11.30pm at night. Worst was the pillow! Rock hard and no spares. I literally got a sore neck…and bought a new pillow the next day.

Summary: I think it’s pricey for what you get: Rudimentary essentials like a bed, a shower and a roof over your head.
