Positive: 1. Location is perfect 2. very clean and modern 3. Very nice gesture - the fridge was full with drinks and snacks- all for free 4. Good quality toiletries + slippers 5. the manager (Ariel) was very nice and accommodating (He kept checking on us if we need anything) 6. room service was for free
Negative: 1. There is no lift. If you have a mobility issue - this place is not for you 2. The stairs are narrow, in case you have big size luggages. We were travelling light, and we did not have an issue 3. Not accessible by car- the taxi drops you off like 300 m from the hotel- which was not an issue

Positive: Beautifully presented and very clean, many items provided for use and some welcome supplies in the fridge on arrival
Negative: There was some noise in the evening, due to its central location in the old Town, but with excellent double glazing it did not prove a problem but would do so for very light sleepers. Ear plugs are provided.

Negative: The shower head did not allow for good pressure a d pillows were too soft. Irrelevant the accomodation and location could not be faulted. The owner even carried our suitcases for us. Above expectations

Positive: Location was very close to tram station, old town,shopping district and river promenade. The bed was very comfortable. The room is nicely decorated.
Negative: There is a major issue with the shower water temperature. You can have either a boiling hot shower or a super cold one! Nothing in between! We informed the owner from the first day but he didn’t reply back about it. Shower time was the most stressful time of the day. I had to wash my hair on the sink(which is tiny) as I couldn’t bear being burnt. Also be aware of the many stairs. Our room was on the top floor so we had to carry our heavy luggages in the narrow stairs. Very difficult if you are not super strong or your luggage is large or heavy. The area is quite noisy. You could hear music all night and there are some homeless people drinking on the street a few metres away from the main entrance. Instructions for entering are not clear. I would advise the owner to add clearer instructions or change the locking system to something simpler. The fridge is tiny and it’s not an actual fridge but more of a cooler. The owner did bring ice cubes however to help us maintain a safe temperature for some milk and yogurt. If you have a child with you and you need a fridge for their needs I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Positive: Very good rooms – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the shopping and bar area in Düsseldorf, so everything is within easy walking distance. Although check-in wasn’t officially until 2pm, they kindly let me in at 11am which was a real bonus. Great service and a lovely place to stay – would definitely recommend!
