Designed for families, children, pets and parties, max sleep 14. Hi-speed wifi, 7xTV+ Firesticks, 4 bedrooms + 2 sofa beds, 2 bathrooms, extra beds for big parties. Kitchen/diner/family room for 14 with TV and cinema surround sound, bluetooth, karaoke and Alexa. VERY CHILD/PET FRIENDLY, large gardens and terraced patio, wood fired hot tub always hot, paddling pool with hot shower, fire pit, BBQ, secure child garden and sand pit, swings, slides, darts, basketball, zip wire, extensive toys and garden games for all ages including adults. Very close to the Green Man, award-winning rural pub, pet and child friendly, does takeaway stone-baked pizza:) Also has a small very good restaurant.

Summary: Booked for a relaxing hen do for me and friends - we were not disappointed The host showed us round and how to use the hot tub which was the main reason for booking. We all had a go on the zip line in the garden which was great. Brilliant for children and adults as there is so much to do and the house is so well laid out. I would definitely recommend it

Summary: Stayed at squirrel barn as a group of 11 adults for my 40th birthday. What an amazing place! Communication was brilliant throughout the whole process. David met us when we arrived and was so helpful and friendly. The accommodation was perfect, it had everything we needed and more! Everyone felt at home, really enjoyed the hot tub and there were plenty of beds, towels, etc for everyone. Such a relaxed and fun place to stay. We cant wait to return with our children as we know they will absolutely love it too! If you are considering staying here, definitely do it, you wont be disappointed!

Summary: The cottage is quirky and ideal for a group of friends to celebrate together. Prior to checking in, David could not have been more helpful, answering every question and arranging for some of us to get there early and decorate the house. We had a fab time relaxing in the hot tub and chatting around the huge table listening to music. I would definitely recommend Squirrel Barn to others.

Summary: We had a party of 11 and the property was perfect, plenty of beds and facilities. The zip line was great fun. Our hosts were helpful, friendly, and informative. The relatively short distance to Alton Towers was handy too. And to top it all off I thought the price was very reasonable. We would love to stay again 😊

Summary: The garden and house has some amazing features. Problems were dealt with quickly. Plenty to do in terms of games, and great outdoor details, such as hot tub and zip wire. Lots of towels provided. Fields very close for the dog walking.
