Positive: A great place to stay. We were attending a concert at the Piece Hall in Halifax and it was a perfect base for a family weekend, and easy to get in and out by taxi. Charlotte is a great host and looked after us well. The house is unusually well equipped with the everyday bit and pieces so often missing in rental houses; the living room is spacious and the bedrooms and kitchen are a good size. Also, a nice local pub just across the road, with a decent pint and good food!
Negative: WiFi a bit temperamental, but good enough for web browsing; not the owners' fault - just country life!

Positive: It was situated in a lovely village, and the Lodge was very well equipped. It was well placed to visit lots of nice places. The hosts had thought of everything and there was plenty of room to relax.
Negative: I had to block off one side of the garden so my dog didn’t escape but that was soon remedied. My elderly mum struggled to get into the master bed as it had a ledge all around it & was not very supportive but saying that she slept soundly.
Summary: Very enjoyable holiday, a real home from home and would definitely return again.

Positive: Lovely comfortable house, situated in a pretty village with local pub. Hosts very friendly and accommodating, they live opposite.
Negative: Could not let the dog outside in the garden without being supervised, as there was a low wall to the side of the house. However, this would not put us off coming back.
