Summary: We returned to Auray and staying in this lovely apartment. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We loved the area and the close proximity to St Goustan which is picturesque and the town of Auray which has a great selection of bars, cafes, shops and markets. We will definitely be coming back, just don't know when, yet!

Summary: Auray is a calm, beautiful port town. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen and bathrooms supplied all our needs. Jacques was very helpful and prompt meeting us. The restaurants just across the bridge were the perfect spot to sit, eat supper and unwind after a day of tourism.

Summary: My friend and I stayed in the apartment, it was well equipped and in a lovely area of the town, close to the bridge to St. Goustan. We were met by Jack, who speaks French only but we managed to communicate. The apartment has two sets of stairs and is situated at the bottom of the hill. Although my friend and I are both in our seventies, we had no problem with either the hill or the stairs but this may be a problem for some. Anne is very nice and also very helpful. I thoroughly recommend this property.

Summary: The host and Jack was wonderful and the cottage is as described . I had everything I wanted and it was just quiet and peaceful. I would love to come back and stay longer. Highly recommended. Everything was just couple of steps away and it was perfect.

Summary: The location is wonderful. Close to restaurants, shopping and the open market on Mondays was great. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Anne was always available by email and easy to communicate with. Jack who was our physical contact did not speak English but we still managed to communicate with him. Jack went above and beyond to help. Upon leaving we had an issue with getting a taxi to the train station. Jack got a car and gave us a ride! I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again on our next travels to France.

Summary: Wonderful apartment, very well equipped and very comfortable. Fabulous position across the bridge from St Goustan and up the hill to Auray. Warm welcome from caretaker Jacques and the owners M Olivier and Mme Anne Lay. Some confusion about collecting the key as you need an electronic tag to lower the barrier to enter Rue du Chateau. You need to find somewhere to park then walk to meet Jacques at the apartment who will hand over the keys and tag. However, there is no parking at the apartment or in the Rue du Chateau, you have to find a space in surrounding streets. Beautiful beaches close by, highly recommend Plage Men Du in La Trinite Sur Mer. Auray has a large market on Mondays. We had a fantastic holiday and will certainly return to this apartment.

Summary: The apt was lovely. Anne was kind and responsive. This was a great stay! General comments. Don't use GPS, it took us down impassable and closed roads. The smaller bedroom does not have a window to open. Anne uses a helper, but we never understood exactly how we were to use him. She has nice bedding, but towel is extra. You cannot see the water from inside the apt, but it is right around the corner. Thanks for your hospitality, Anne!

Summary: My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in Anne's apartment in St. Goustan. It was quiet and an excellent location, despite construction on the bridge. We loved being right in the center of the village and walked to all the shops, cafes, art galleries, and the market on Monday. This was a perfect place to call home and it was easy to drive to other villages (like Arradon, Carnac, and Vannes) for day trips. We attended a wedding celebration in Arradon, toured the megaliths in Carnac, and had delicious crepes in Vannes! Anne was so helpful, and it was nice to know she was there if we needed anything. The apartment has everything and is very comfortable- we would highly recommend this apartment! Clare and Coco
