Summary: I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host. Once the information was submitted, followed by a secondary transaction of a significant sum in the reception to act as damage waiver, we were finally granted access to our room. Room was nice but for the price as advertised it cannot compete with a Premier Inn which has a receptionist and breakfast included. Remote receptionist was helpful despite the process; though would be more well served on site

Summary: I wish they had let me know when I booked that there is no reception and checking in is virtual. I only found out when I arrived at the hotel. We stood outside for well over 30 min trying to enter details on the app that kept erroring. I called, but it went to voicemail- still haven’t got a call back. It’s a pity as the rooms are pretty. Also to note for those that are light sensitive there are very bright street lights and only shutters on the windows.
