Stables East is a semi-detached two-storey cottage built into the hillside forming the middle section of a charming courtyard in the centre of the Village and enjoying glorious views over Melfort Village and south towards Loch Melfort. To make the most of the views, the living areas are upstairs with bedrooms downstairs – the main entrance to the cottage is from the rear directly onto the first floor. Stables East shares a peaceful lawn courtyard garden with central flower bed and garden seating. Car-parking is at the rear of the building.
Enjoy the views over the village through the attractive arched windows of the large sitting room with wood-burning stove (equipped with a two single sofa beds for occasional guests, CTV, DVD), open plan kitchen/dining area (with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave & dishwasher). Summary: Stables East at Melfort Village is a lovely 2 bed cottage with access to the facilities at Melfort Village. A great location for exploring the local coastline from Oban down to Lochgilphead, Crinan and beyond. Easdale and the Isle Of Seil is well worth a day out. The pool and spa at Melfort were well used by us, perfect after a day out walking or cycling. The cottage has everything you need, and is cosy and comfortable. Some things could do with an upgrade, such as the wood burning stove and the wall heater in the bedroom could be replaced with something more efficient. But on the whole it’s good. The WiFi was surprising good given the location. The staff at reception were excellent, always really helpful and full of advice about the area. Will definitely return.

Summary: Great mini break. Melfort village has lovely grounds, very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Very pet friendly! Would highly recommend! Cant wait to visit again.
