Positive: Great location, near to Sandgate’s lovely promenade, pubs and restaurants. Both Folkestone and Hythe can be visited on foot. The cottage was quaint with a nice little courtyard space for a cuppa or a tipple. Our hosts, Valerie and John, could not have been more friendly or more helpful - thank you! Free guest parking too.

Positive: Hosts were excellent, very welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was good, very good portion size, and cereal/toast options too. Facilities available were excellent, TV with all the Smart Features too.
Negative: The Cottage is a little dated, bedroom cupboard door opens on it's own, shower has a couple of broken pores, so water flies out at random angles, bath is a bit creaky when you step in it, property could do with being modernized a bit but that's just my opinion.
Summary: The stay was great, hosts couldn't do enough for you, and property was in a good location.

Positive: Valerie and John were so kind and welcoming - they even offered to pick us up at the station when we booked. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, but also homely and comfortable. Valerie made us a lovely breakfast each morning. They were the perfect hosts and the accomodation was lovely and exceptional value.

Positive: We stayed at this delightful cottage for the August Bank Holiday weekend. It was just perfect in every way, the cottage was just a 2 mins walk to the beach, beautiful restaurants and bars were also nearby. The cottage had just about everything if you wanted to cook ( not that I had the urge to do any cooking at all ). Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk, fruit and chocolate was all provided by the owners. The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout, it boasted a lovely comfy sofa and chair to relax whilst watching Netflix and it also had a beautiful garden along with garden furniture. John and Valerie ( the owners ) are probably the nicest couple we have ever met ! They live in the cottage right next door and could not do enough to make sure our stay was just perfect in everyway. They also payed for the parking for the whole weekend, and luckily we found a space right outside of the property. Sandgate is a very tranquil seaside town without the hustle and bustle of crowds and unnecessary noise, it also has lots of things to see and do in the local area.
Negative: Nothing it was just perfect !
