This wonderful mountain house is centrally located in Lake Almanor Country Club. Both recreation area's are very close by, lake access is within 5 minutes walking distance.
The property features ample off road parking and also allows drive through access for trailers and boats.
The house is very tastefully decorated with original art, earthy colors and high end furnishings. Contemporary but with a definite cabin/mountain feel, open but cozy. Includes a wood burning stove.
The living area's are bright and airy with skylights to view the stars. Upstairs bedrooms each have their own balconies to view the lake.
A very large deck with patio furniture and grill is a wonderful place for entertaining family and friends.
The patio overlooks a large grass lawn area which is ideal for lawn games, children's play area, etc. Bring your badminton or lawn croquet set :)

Summary: My wife and I absolutely loved being in Lake Almanor for this past Labor Day weekend! The location is prime and we were very busy with activities. The owners were very nice to work with and communicated very easily. The house is older and so comes with nuisances but still an A+ property. The only thing I think they could have done better is cleanliness.

Summary: We were thrilled to find a house so close to our property as we had too many folks to stay here with us. They only slept there and could walk back to ours for all the fun. Great weekend!

Summary: Nice location with the Lake Almanor Country Club. We used the tennis court and the pickle ball court at recreational area one. Very present walk to the end of the peninsula and back. We loved the views of the stars at night. There was a telescope available but it seemed of little use inside the house because of the glare on the windows. It was upstairs so we were afraid of carrying it downstairs to the outside patio for use.

Summary: My husband was working in the area, so we had this property for 3 weeks. It was more than enough space for my husband, myself and our two young girls. You could easily have a couple families. Great view from porch overlooking the lake, TV had lots of options, whole house fan was great for the cool evenings and mornings, park and beach close by for the kids, easy communication with host, overall a great stay!

Summary: We needed overflow sleeping space for a large group, and the property delivered on the promise. Lots of room, quiet, and conveniently close to our friend's lakeside house. There isn't a lot of room to gather inside, so better to consider this a place to sleep than to entertain a large group! Good headquarters for nearby trips.
