Summary: We were excited to stay on a boat again, as we had done in Boston and had loved it. Upon arrival, we noticed this boat was older, which i have no problem with, but it was dirty overall. We did not use the kitchen (which would have been great for just having breakfast in, at least). Coffee pot was at least 30 years old and looked it (we had one early in our marriage). The sponge in the kitchen was old and has hair on it. I found 2 orthodontic rubber bands on the floor, one by the dining room table, and one on the floor of the bathroom. We did use the hot water kettle, as i figured and greens would get boiled away). The master bathroom was at least passably clean, and the bed did have clean, white bedding on it.Towels were white and clean. We would have left had this not been the case. I am thankful that my relatives didn't come with us, because the second bedroom smelled like sewage and must/ mildew and was dank and dark. I never would have slept in there or let my family members do so! The second bathroom had the shower blocked. We did not even use that bathroom. The area the boat was docked was fine; it was within a locked area. There were a good amount of homeless in the area outside the gate. Location was convenient to the Aquabus and the Skyline Metro. Knowing what i know, I would have just booked a hotel room. It might have been a bit more expensive, but it would have been clean.

Summary: We were excited to be staying on a boat as something different. The boat is old, moldy and 2 small space heaters did not manage to keep it warm. For the money this was a terrible experience. Communication was non existent when booked and then incorrect access instructions on the day of arrival. Would not recommend. Would have tried to cancel the second night for a refund but this was too difficult with our time commitments. 2 nights in a cold bed breathing in mold and a door that had no way of locking leaving us feel vulnerable
