Vacation bliss will come with ease at this historic 103-year-old charmer sitting right across the road from the gleaming shoreline of Paw Paw Lake. Spend your afternoons on the water as the property extends to 115 feet of lake frontage. Here, dock your boat using the boat slip, fish or swim off the dock, or launch the provided kayaks. Fun in the sun extends to the property's grass volleyball court and to the numerous yard games. After hours of playful competition, gather on the deck to barbecue followed by alfresco dining.
Inside Stealth Cottage, discover warm wood finishes, modern amenities, and comfortable sleeping quarters. The living room boasts a 50" Smart TV, two soft sofas, and the perfect table to play poker around. Steps away, the well-equipped kitchen has updated appliances and ample meal prep space - making cooking a breeze! The mixologist of your group will adore the cottage's separate bar, known as the 'MOAB' standing for 'The Mother of all Bars'. This space has a wine fridge, a wine rack, and a round table with bar stools.
Your comfort is catered to in each of the bedrooms. The primary bedroom showcases the home's second flatscreen TV and an en suite bathroom. When additional sleeping quarters are needed, the loft has five separate beds - perfect for the kids. Additional interior perks include a private washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, a stereo system, and a DVD player.
As the sun begins to set over the water, gather around the outdoor fireplace for shared s'mores and campfire stories.

The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Summary: It was listed with 3 bedrooms and the loft but when we arrived we noticed that 2 of the rooms were connected with one door leading to outside so if your roommate wanted privacy you’d have to go outside and through the front door. Next this is not a lake front property the lake is across the street so details were misleading in the vrbo details. our group was excited to enjoy the bar by the lake but we found that it was torn down and the plywood on the dock was flimsy so some of our group didn’t want to risk falling in. Finally we come to our bathroom issue the plumbing was missing under the sink and we did not notice till there was water leaking on the floor and one of our guest slipped. We opened the cabinet and found that all the towels they provided were soaked and the pvc pipe was gone so our group of 8 had to share a sink that was connected to one of rooms which made it uncomfortable. We contacted support and they weren’t really helpful. they made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t offer much credit to our stay. I wouldn’t come back to that property but the lake was nice and area was quiet hope to find a different property in the area next time.

Summary: stayed for 4 days and loved every second of it. The house/property is in a great location, easy to find, close to dining and shops as well. All in all, 10/10 stay.

Summary: Nice, average lake house. House and items inside are dated. Pics are a little nicer than actual reality. Most beds comfy! Lots and lots of kitchen supplies provided but few important ones missing. AC works amazing. Dock across the street is a little rough/unsafe for kids and could use some improvements. FYI, One of the main pics listed in this listing is not the dock that this house actually uses. The little bar area by the dock is super. Could use some updated outdoor furniture.

Summary: The house itself was beautiful. We definitely would use again. The only issue we ran into was having a checkout time of 10 am and finding out too late that we could extend our time. Check your emails regularly to see if/when you can add a later checkout so you don’t miss it

Summary: The cottage accommodated our large group well. We ate several prepared meals, played lots of volleyball and had a couple of nights by the fire. Our main attraction to the cottage was the lake with kayaks and lakeside bar area. Unfortunately, the writeup does not mention that the outdoor lake area is across the street and shared with the owner's family. Several times we were unable to use the outdoor facilities because their family had congregated by the water. The volleyball area also had dog poo from the owner's dog running the property. The dog is very sweet, but no one wants to step in it. The owner uses Vacasa to manage the property. Prior to our trip, Vacasa did not respond to messages in a timely manner. My past experiences/communications with VRBO owners has been within 24 hours. One message required more than 3 days for a reply. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves, but we think the description of the property lacks some important details about the shared facilities and amenities.

Summary: Great property very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and a sleeping loft with 5 beds. Huge yard with volleyball net and fire pit. Lake was an easy walk across the street with shared dock with a cool bar at the dock. Kitchen had everything we needed ( even a dishwasher and garbage disposal) only problem was I could not get the outdoor gas grill to work but not a big deal. Lake was nice and Lake Michigan Hager beach was only about 10 minutes. great beach and dog friendly. South Haven was about 15 minutes. overall great place for my family and dog.
