Positive: Stekanakos house is really well equipped, is very spacious and comfortable. If you are looking for a base in Spili to explore the area, then this is a great apartment. It is not of a modern style but you do have lots of room and it is homely and clean. Everything works and the bed is comfortable. Huge upstairs roof deck to relax and admire the hills and a decent size balcony to eat out on if you like. Close to local supermarket and tavernas and a 5 minute walk down to the town centre. Plenty of parking space just across the lane from the house. Quiet and private. The host Vassilis was a clear communicator and provided good information for arrival and a very kind & generous welcome pack of goodies; thank-you.!

Positive: Stefanakoshouse is simply the best holiday appartment we ever stayed in. It's spacious, clean and decorated with great care. Every morning we had breakfast on the nice terrace/loggia and in the evening we enjoyed the stunning views at the roofterrace. I thought the photo's of the house would be enhanced. But all actually looks exactly like the photo's. Or maybe even better. Our host Vasilis contacted us regularly to make sure we were having a great time and  to ask if we needed anything like clean towels , bedlinnen or cleaning. Our overall feeling was: this is our home away from home. Spili is the perfect place to be if you don't like the crowds at the coast but do want to enjoy everything Crete has to offer. The village has plenty cafes and restaurants, 2 supermarkets and some nice souvenirshops. WIth our hired car we went to quiet beaches, visited archeological sites and mountainvillages. We will recommend Stefanakoshouse in Spili to all our friends, that's for sure.

Positive: Convenient location at walking distance from shops and restaurants. The terrace above the building has an great view and the house is well equipped with everything that you might need.
Negative: - getting there by car might be a bit challenging, but you can always park on the Main Street - one of the bathrooms has no direct ventilation to outside.
Summary: Very good location, overall we were quite happy with this accommodation.

Positive: The location is amazing 30min by car from many location like prevelli beach and the gorge. 30 min from rethymno and around 45 min to phaistos palace and gortyn ancient city. Stefanakos went out of his way to help us with an item we lost. We thank you so much for your help.
Negative: The mattress being a bit soft was not good for my back problems but in general I liked everything.

Positive: We had a lovely stay in Stefanikos House. The place is roomy, clean, nice, cosy - the space is functional for decent number of people. The roof terrace is amazing. The hosts are friendly and generous. The location is just few steps away from stores and taverna's, few minutes from the village center. I would recommend this house to everyone.

Positive: This is a very good, fully equipped apartment with plenty of space. It was very clean and everything in good working order. A bonus is the roof space which has been converted into a “garden” area, complete with sun beds, dining area, gas BBQ and a wonderful view. The owners are very helpful and are easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Tip - there is a dedicated park space outside the apartment. Don’t try and drive directly from the main road - there is access from a rear road, which the owner will explain.
