Positive: EVERYTHING! This is the place to go. It is truly magnificent! For starters, I drove all around Sicily and stayed in some great places (including a former palace in Palermo). Stella del Rio is the nicest place ai’ve ever stayed in my life. The area is vineyards, citrus trees, olive trees. I wish I could have stayed longer, but am already planning a return trip! I stayed in the main structure and it was spotlessly clean and beautiful. The place only opened in July and they spared no expense in making it PERFECT. I have never felt more tranquility. The birds chirping, the wind in the trees, all of it. Though I only stayed one night, it was as if I had been at a spa for a month. I felt extremely relaxed after my stay. The area is reminicent of California’s Napa Valley. They should be charging at least 5 or 6 times more than they do! It is worth it. I must have taken 100 pictures of the property and grounds. No words could truly do it justice. The proprietors are absolutely lovely. It was raining the day I arrived. They met me at the car with an umbrella. There is a beautiful breakfast/banquet room with a fireplace. It could not be any more charming or perfect, truly. This is the type of place that everyone is looking for, but it’s very hard to find. I cannot say enough good things about it! I will go for a week next time. The area is very interesting and easily car accessible. Castles, pizza places, grocery stores, a medieval city, gas stations, wineries, etc. You have to trust me. If I could give it a million stars, I would! As I said, it is spotlessly clean with luxury sheets and a very comfortable bed. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is magnificent!!!!!!

Positive: My family of 7 stayed partially in the new bungalows and partially in the refurbished farm house. The location has breathtaking views and is only minutes from Naro but still provides peace and quiet. It is family owned and operated. The family is wonderful, helpful, and kind. They were accommodating in every possible way and always took the time to help us with any questions we had. The bungalow is great for a longer term stay as it has everything you’d need for that type of stay (oven, laundry, multiple bedrooms, kitchen). The farm house is great for a night or two stay as it is more geared toward a traditional hotel stay. We had a great stay and cannot recommend the place enough. Whether you’re staying as a couple or as a large family this location can accommodate all your needs.

Negative: There is nothing negative we can say about the property.

Summary: We booked on short notice and it was so good we decided to stay another night.
