4 Bedroom House in Osteraker, Stockholm

Located in the fantastic Stockholm Archipelago but with easy access to the City of Stockholm, our villa has all the comforts you will ever need. From the many outside terraces and gazebo you can realax have a drink or cook dinner on the BBQ with a sea view. A short walk down from the house you will find a small sandy beach and some cliffs from where you can go for a swim. The area is very tranquil and relaxing, and there are several beaches and a mini-golf course close by. The larger golf courses are only 10 - 15 minutes away.
The house has seven beds in four bedrooms. Two large double rooms, a single (120 cm wide bed, plus a guest house with a double bed. The large open kitchen has a rustic table that seats ten people. From the livingroom two double doors give easy access to the terrace from where you can enjoy the evening sun. There are two bathrooms, a library and a laundry room with washer and dryer as well.
From our house in Lervik there are three optional ways to travel to downtown Stockholm and all its cultural attractions. The slow (but nicest) way is catching the passenger ferry from Lervik landing 400 meters from the house. The cruise to Stockholm will take approx 1,5 hours and will hget you right in the center. What a beautiful and relaxing way to enter the city! From Österskär or Åkersberga, approx 10 minutes away by car, you can catch the commuter train to Stockholm. It leaves 4-5 times every hour and takes between 30-40 minutes, depending on time of the day. The third way is by car which takes about 35-45 minutes to the city.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the villa. House was very clean. Quiet area, easy to walk to the beach for morning dips yet easy drive (45 min) into downtown Stockholm. Two bathrooms but only one shower.

Summary: Very spacious and well maintained property, easy to set up a home base for a large family to enjoy spending time together without feeling cramped for space. Kitchen is well equipped for ease of cooking meals, common areas are very comfortable, house is clean with two large bathrooms. Only ten minutes walk to sea, many paths to explore and barely any mosquitos in the area. Quiet neighborhood. Bit of a steep hill from car park to house, people with physical disabilities may need assistance to get up the stairs and gravel walkway. 10/10 stars

Summary: Our family spent a wonderful, relaxed week at the house. The home is beautifully furnished to a high level. The beds are very comfortable, and the linen provided is of good quality. The large kitchen is well-equipped. The sauna works well and is great to warm up after a winter/autumn dip in the sea. The surrounding area has good walks and there are a number of small beaches and swimming areas a short walk away. A shopping center is a short drive away if you need to pop out for food or for some retail therapy. The checking-in process is easy, and Gunilla responds quickly to any questions and provides additional information. Highly recommended for a relaxed time away.

Summary: We stayed five days at this lovely family home and had a great time. Everything was perfect, besides the fact that one of the two toilets wasn’t working. But they will propably fix that after our stay. 😊 We would definitely recommend it and would love to come back another time.
