Positive: Nice location, with a sizeable yard, out in the archipelago. The house is quite comfortable and has a good amount of space. Internet worked fine, at a reasonable speed, although it doesn't reach all the bedrooms, so a booster would really be helpful. It is a short walk to a pier and a really nice exercise place (not a playground, but still fun for kids to climb on). A couple of bikes are available, which our kids enjoyed.
Negative: To put it simply, no pool, no boat. I mean, it is literally called "with pool, boat", because those things being available are a primary point of renting the house. Now there is a pool, but it clearly wasn't prepared for use and hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. We weren't given any advance notice the pool wouldn't be available, until a message on the day asking us to keep any small children away from the cover - and when I responded asking whether that meant the pool wasn't accessible, I got no response. And there is apparently a boat, but only from June-August, which again isn't mentioned in the listing - and the weather was warm and clear, so we would indeed have used it. Again, though, no advance notice. Also a small ant problem, which wasn't big enough to be significant, but obviously will be if not addressed. Overall, it's a perfectly nice house, even though not outstanding, but "perfectly nice" doesn't make up for a seriously misleading listing, and if the listing had been accurate we would have rented somewhere else.

Positive: The property was located in the countryside outside Stockholm and so was really quiet. There were walks which led to beaches and into the forests; we quite often saw deer and even saw a moose/elk in the garden. Even though it was outside Stockholm there was a convenient bus service into the city that took about an hour each way; this meant that we didn't have to drive to most locations. It was also convenient for the ferry (short bus ride away) which went to locations such as Sandhamn. One last comment is the Bageri within walking distance of the property; it was excellent for a mid morning cup of tea/coffee and a cake. The quality and cleanliness of the property was really good. The beds were big and comfortable; the shower was good and came with facilities such as a dishwasher. I wouldn't have problem recommending this property to someone else. As for Sweden; great place to visit.. would definitely go back again.
Negative: Hmm.. there wasn't anything we didn't like really about the property. I think the only thing to mention is that the local restaurants close at the end of the summer season when the Swedish schools return. In that case we had to drive to restaurants that were a bit further away from the property. Next time I would make sure that I booked before the Swedish schools returned.
Summary: Excellent holiday property in a great location that allowed us to unwind.

Positive: Lovely house: stylish, airy, well-equipped. Easy access to the archipelago with Stockholm just 45 min away by car or public transport. Best place to relax and unwind. Supermarket and bakery in walking distance .

Positive: Comfortable house with large windows facing the direction of the sun. They had some fun games and the area is beautiful. We brought an electric car, the owner was super helpful and looked for a place to charge in the village.
Negative: Minor thing. There were around 10-15 moths inside the property. This is normal around springtime in Sweden. I had to catch them and take them outside. I guess someone left a door open in the evening.

Positive: The location. We had moose in the garden and the water just down the road. It felt like were both out in nature yet close to shops.
