The property is stunning—both the historic building and its serene surroundings left us in awe. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Summary: We wanted to be on the beach in a quiet town and that’s what we got. We loved our room in Heron. We had a huge bath tub, lots of space, a lovely porch and lots of windows towards the water. The only bummer was the fireplace didn’t work. We really wanted to use that. And we could hear people walking around upstairs above us. The natural light in the bathroom was really nice. The sunset was beautiful when the weather cooperated. The walk to the beach is nice and easy. We saw lots of shore birds and ducks. The restaurant was nice, quaint, the food was good, as long as you’re okay waiting a bit for your drinks. I loved the campfire with everything you need for s'mores. Breakfast was healthy and thorough with lots of fresh fruit and tables overlooking the water to eat at. I wish I got to explore and see all the rooms because they seem unique.

Summary: Enjoyed a nice get away in the winter months. A walk to the beach was welcomed, and dinner in the Tap Room was really special. Will definitely be staying here again!
