Only metres from the family-friendly beach at Silver Sands, our spacious beachfront holiday home offers superb views and all the amenities needed to make your beach holiday relaxing and enjoyable .
The top level is cleverly designed to provide a perfect space to suit 1 or 2 couples, or bring the whole family to enjoy the 5 bedrooms, two living spaces, 3.5 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen upstairs, and a smaller kitchenette downstairs.
Wake to the sound of waves, have breakfast on the balcony after a morning dip, and plan your day.
Easy access to the wide, patrolled swimming beach is directly across the quiet road out front, go fishing from the beach, enjoy water-sports from the Silver Sands boat ramp, snorkel on Aldinga Reef Aquatic Reserve, go bird watching in the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Reserve, or visit the award-winning McLaren Vale wineries and Saturday Willunga Farmer’s Market. You’ll still have plenty of time for relaxing on the balcony with a chill glass of wine while choosing whether to eat at one of the many local restaurants, or fire up the BBQ and indulge in our famous Fleurieu Peninsula local produce at home.
All just a stone’s throw away.
The Space
Upstairs you’ll find two large bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes, Queen beds, quality linen and towels. Bedroom 1 has direct access to the balcony, while Bedroom 2 has a private reading nook. The light and airy open plan living and dining area has air-con, while the well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and Nespresso machine, all open to a wide wrap around balcony over-looking the sea. Eat alfresco on the balcony or at the large bleached wood table inside, both offer unobstructed sweeping views of the sea and coast.
Downstairs are three more bedrooms (two with Queen beds, one with a single bed and slide-out trundle), family bathroom, and comfortable second lounge also with air-con, TV and games, a kitchenette, separate laundry, undercover BBQ area, and secure double garage.
There is also ample off-street parking.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Stone's Throw very much. The views were spectacular of the hills and the beach. We found the house had everything we needed and there were enough space for our family to relax. The neighborhood was quiet and Veronica our host was prompt with communication. Summary: Our family of 9 - mum, dad and adult children and partners had a wonderful, memorable time at “Stones throw”. Position is beachfront which makes for excellent views of the spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula as well as easy access for walks/swims. Easily accommodated 9 adults with very spacious bedrooms - 2 with ensuites- and living areas x 2. The house had everything you needed - kitchen was well equipped & plenty of parking. I would highly recommend this house - can easily accomodate 4 couples. Thanks for a lovely week “Stones throw”.

Summary: Incredible location with 180 degree views. The home has a perfect layout with sea views from 4 of the 5 bedrooms. This property has everything you would want in a beach house. The most clean rental accomadation that my family has ever stayed in. Veronica was the perfect host. We will be returning.

Summary: Overall a great experience had at this wonderful property. Plenty of space for all the guests, beautiful facilities, everything supplied for your stay. A must stay if want to enjoy beautiful sunsets, walk the beach and explore the local areas.

Summary: Stone's Throw is the perfect house for a beachside holiday. The house is well appointed with 2 separate living areas, great kitchen and high quality linen and furnishings. Every thing needed for a carefree holiday has been thought of. An excellent location for a peaceful get-away where you can choose to go out and about or just sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Highly recommended.

Summary: Silver Sands is a beautiful, comfortable, spacious house, right on the ocean, overlooking a stunning beach. The care and attention to detail is evident from the moment you arrive. The property is immaculately (and I mean really, really immaculately) clean, and there is everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The property is located a short drive from the Fleurieu Peninsular's major attractions. We visited Victor Harbour, Kangaroo Island and the beautiful regional villages on day trips from the house. Veronica's communication and assistance was exceptional, and I highly recommend her place for a lovely family holiday.
