Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great staff and good location. Breakfast was freshly laid out and tasty. Check in and out was easy, plus going in and out of the lodge.
Negative: The pictures of the rooms are a little deceiving. The room I had (Kingfisher) was much smaller, the shower over the bath was hand held, and there was no shower curtain, mean water went all over the toilet and floor. The window is screwed open, with access to a flat roof, which felt a bit insecure. (See photos)
Summary: Lovely place to stay. Photos are a little deceiving.

Positive: Great central location, and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and we had a lovely meal downstairs in the evening. Really appreciated that there was a fan in our room as the weather was very hot! Thank you!
Negative: Could have been a little cleaner, there were a few cobwebs and some dust in our room. The bed mattress was fine for 1 night but could be more comfortable. I would have loved some bubble bath in the room instead of/as well as shampoo!
Summary: Lovely friendly place, basic but everything we needed for 1 night! Thank you

Positive: For me it is convenient for visiting relations who live a short walk away and for the train station, so think this was my 4th stay
Negative: Breakfast a bit basic, maybe a bit of cheese and ham or honey. Toaster very difficult to use and it would be better to have a kettle so you had boiling not hot water for tea. I boil the kettle in the room and bring it down to get a proper cup of tea
