Positive: It was quiet and a little far from the main city but a flat walk. Had what we expected. No frills.

Negative: I found the bed rolled into the middle and I would have preferred black tea as an option rather than herbal.

Summary: Nice enough and had what we expected. Not sure if value for money as first night stay in Bern and only one night stay.

Positive: Well-positioned for the price; access to the station and the Old Town was fairly easy. Bedroom was very cosy, and stayed cool with the fan and the windows open, even on a very hot night.

Negative: The noise from the hospital - it could keep you awake a little bit. But I know that's not something that's easily changed, since that's a locational thing.
