Explore the Copper Country while staying in this centrally located historic home. Nestled in a cozy neighborhood, this house was once home to the streetcar station of Quincy Hill! Walk where so many have in days gone by as it is within distance of the Quincy Mine Hoist, the Maasto Hiihto ski and hiking trails, and local ATV trails. There is no need to trailer your snowmobile as you will be able to access a trail a short distance from the house. Take a sunrise hike less than a mile away on the Mont Ripley ski hill and see the spectacular sunsets over the Portage Canal. Spend your days visiting the endless historic mining sights, exploring the vast number of public beaches and waterfalls, and hiking, biking and riding the countless trail systems. This home is situated on 3 acres of private land with a huge backyard. At the end of the day you will sleep like a baby on the comfortable beds in this tidy home. There are 3 upstairs bedrooms (one is a walk through) and 2 portable air conditioners in bedrooms. (There is no air conditioning downstairs but is rarely needed here) WIFI and a smart TV are included as well as a pack and play and high chair. Your hosts are available to answer questions and are committed to making your stay enjoyable.

Summary: Beds had memory foam, im not used to it. Loved the experience as a whole, only drawback was the quality of TP. We bought what we like to use instead. The guest book containing the experience of previous stays was entertaining and helpful.

Summary: This house was perfectly cozy and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in! It was so close to the MTU campus and everything Houghton has to offer, and close to every other Keweenaw adventure you can think of! I perfect place for a wonderful getaway!

Summary: We had a group of four up for a few days in the area to explore some places we had never been in the UP. The house was perfect for us as it was right near the trail and also easy driving distance of lots of beautiful places! Shari was SUPER helpful and quick when we had questions! We had so much fun and would definitely stay again in the future!!

Summary: Overall we had a great experience. The home was very clean upon our arrival. The only negative we encountered is that the stairs to the bedrooms are carpeted, and there was only a handrail on the wall side of the stairs, the lower part of the stairway was open to the kitchen and there was no safety rail.

Summary: We rarely go to the same area twice, there's just too much of the world to see. And we have NEVER stayed at the same place twice, until now. If you want to explore the Keweenaw, and stay somewhere that simply feels like you've moved there, stay here. Its home-level comfortable, in a great location, and the owners couldnt be nicer.
